We contracted Valhalla to replace the 25-year-old furnace with a gas/heatpump system, new ducting, and a tankless hot water heater. Valhalla was particularly mindful of how to fit this modern system + duct upgrades into our home in the most non-invasive way possible. Super happy with the results!

D	Don Webb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Useless. My heat pump broke during a 45 degree heat Celsius heat wave. I called Valhalla. The symptoms were that the capacitor was defective. A simple job, but Valhalla said that due to the temperature he would charge a minimum of 90 minutes for a service visit at rate of time and a half (about 400$). I agreed, and he said he would be out that afternoon or next morning. He never turned up I called many times, and every time it was "tomorrow". After two weeks I gave up and cancelled. then, i checked Youtube about how to change a capacitor. I ordered one on Amazaon for $19.99. I repaired the heatpump myself in 15 minutes after the capacitor arrived (in 2 days). The moral of the story - forget Valnalla and dot it yourself.

We moved to the area last year and had a brand new heat pump AC and furnace installed. We dealt with the owner Ryan and a couple of his crew(I remember Shaun but not the other fellas name sorry) Everyone was super professional, punctual, clean and efficient. The work they did was amazing. Well a year later and I needed some help with a couple more things and, they certainly did not disappoint. Shaun(sorry if the spelling is wrong) was flying solo this time and was quick to answer my abundance of questions while completing my list. Valhalla Refrigeration has amazing customer service which isn't the case with most businesses these days. I highly recommend them to anyone looking.
M	Mahlayah Ortiz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last year, we had an issue with Valhalla but they corrected the poor service experience and won back our business. BUT this year after a second poor experience they have lost our business for good. In both incidents it took multiple weeks of unanswered phone calls and emails just to get in touch with them. After finally getting an appointment scheduled (for a couple months later) to install a new hot water heater, they called a week before to reschedule due to the heat wave (perfectly acceptable). Sadly, they never showed up to the rescheduled appointment and failed to contact us. We had to call them. Ryan apologized for not contacting us but proceeded to tell us that this job wasn't important to them and that they had other customers who might die from the heat if they priorized our job over other AC jobs. They failed to offer an alternative date and made no attempt to reschedule us. So after three months of waiting, a missed appointment, and no offer to re-book, we were effectively told it was our fault for booking an appointment that ended up during a heatwave.
T	Tao Miao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best AC guy ever!!! Ryan is the wizard of AC! So my AC is 20 years old and got multiple broken parts inside of the machine. I should, it is supposed to and Ryan suggested to change a new one. I believe it's a good idea but I will have to wait for a month. That was the Friday which was getting a 45 degrees weekend. One of Ryan's guy and Ryan himself came in after a whole day's work just to help me. What he did to my AC is magic! It is for sure a unfixable machine to any mechanic, but he did it! After many rounds of running up and down, Ryan fixed it! My family got to use the AC in the 45 degrees weekend. This is the most professional team I've ever seen and I would like to recommend this team to everyone. Profession and compassion.
