**BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS*** I highly recommend that you do not purchase anything from this business. They're a bunch of scammers and entirely misleading. I will explain my horrible experience below. I will be seeking immediate legal action if Urbanized does not resolve this. I have receipts, pictures, emails and recorded phone conversations to back up the situation. My wife and I visited Urbanized first week on September 2021 and was assisted by a sales representative named "Sam". Seemed like a very nice guy and he explained that the sofas at Urbanized are made in Canada with the finest materials, that if you purchase a custom sofa you get a free session with an interior designer who can assist you with sizing/colours/style, he also mentioned that shipping is guranteed within 6 to 8 weeks and if the sofa does not deliver within that time frame- the sofa would be free of charge. We thought about it and Sam's points were convincing so we decided to pop in on 09/19/2021 and purchase a custom sectional sofa for $2313.12 CAD. On that same day, we were told that we needed to make a payment worth 50% of the product and so we paid $1200.00. After 6 weeks of waiting we called to check up on the delivery status and we were told that it's up to 8 weeks before it gets delivered. After 65 days/9 weeks we did not hear anything back from them so we called the manager let us know that they would like the remaining payment of the sofa before they initiate the delivery going against what were told that it would be free after 8 weeks of no delivery. We were very upset because we were fooled that there was no real guaranteed shipping and it was all a gimmick to get us to purchase the sofa. We spoke to the manager numerous times and she was very unapologetic and advised she'll speak to "head office" (head office did not contact us). The manager was very unhelpful, she continously made excuses as to why the sofa hasn't been delivered. We agreed to give them the final payment (which was never the issue) and asked them to please have the item delivered right away. They promised that within a few days the item would come to our home. The sofa ended up being delivered on 12/02/2021 - 10 weeks and a half later. They said a few days and we'll have it delivered then they said it's at the shipping dock waiting to come to the house. All excuses and lies. Urbanized sent 1 man to come deliver the sofa... 1 man. He took the sofa out of the truck on a trolly and refused to bring it in the house claiming the sofa is too big to lift into the house. He claimed that he needs to more men to help him. My brother and I offered our support. He responded that hes busy and has other deliveries. He was lying and just didn't want to bring the sofa inside the house. Can you imagine? So what did he do? He left the sofa outside in my backyard under the rain and left. We called Urbanized extremely upset and asked what is going on? They apologized and made excuses. After the couch was rained on for over a day, I had to gather some neighbours to help me lift it into the garage. The couch immediately started to get damaged - I have pictures and videos from my security camera of all this. They brought another delivery guy to bring into the house a few days later. After delivering into the house we noticed that this "custom couch" is DAMAGED, HORRIBLE QUALITY, POORLY STITCHED, DEFLATING, BREAKING APART all due to manufacturers defects. We called the manager immediately to let her know, as per Urbanized policy this couch needs to be returned. She's ignoring us, she's not answering our calls, they're making excuses They made promises, took our money, lied to us, and gave us damaged goods. They are presently ignoring us and do not want to help us going against their own policy. Very unprofessional and deceitful business. Please stay away. I will be disputing this matter by taking legal action if Urbanized does not rectify this situation.

Yesterday morningΒ I visited square one location. There were no customers & the lady at the counter was busy with paperwork. She didn't bother to greet or make eyeΒ contact. I was interested in a product & had a few questions. But she wasn't eager to answer or even look at me. I felt very unwelcome & left the store.

This store contains very modern and contemporary furniture items. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We bought a carpet, painting and display item from this store, very high quality and reasonably priced.
