★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just wanted to share my experience at the Ubran Barn's Coquitlam Centre location today. I went in-store - there were 2 Sales Associate and they were at the cash register facing the front of the store where customers come in. None of them greeted me and didn't even bother looking up. I walked around the entire store - they noticed me but did not even offer assistance or even a "hello". I did notice they said 'bye' to a caucasion customer but as I was walking towards the door to leave, I see one of them look up - sees me - and proceeds to ignore me and continues to talk to the other SA - no 'bye' or' 'thanks for coming in'. Hm, is it because I am Asian? I do not look old enough to afford making a purchase there? This has left a very sour and bitter taste in my mouth and I would definitely not shop there ever again. I am sure if I have experienced this there are many more customers who have been treated the same way. Please properly train your staff or hire new employees. You would think during this pandemic that customer service would be top notch as a lot of retail stores have suffered from sales. I guess Urban Barn does not value their customers or respect different Ethnicities?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shopped with the lovely Delia today, it was so much of fun. She was so helpful and knowledgeable on the products. What wonderful customer service. Delia made my day , 10 stars for her wonderful and helpful attitude as she did it all with a smile. Thank you Urban Barn for having such amazing staff and high level of service excellence .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shopped at the Coquitlam location yesterday, after checking out some furniture shops on united blvd. I was impressed with the layout of the store and the way that everything was staged, it makes picturing it in my home really easy. I spoke with the store manager for quite some time, she was very lovely and really helpful. My husband and I are doing some home renovations and she helped build the vision I have with the Antonio couch and some tables. I ended up buying some decor and we will be back for the furniture as soon as it’s time. What a great shopping experience, and a change from the usual pushy sales people, thank you!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had been looking for a couch for a few months and everywhere we went was quoting us 12 weeks - 9 months wait for a couch. We then went in to Urban Barn on a whim while going to best buy and found the perfect couch for our space, kiln dried wood frame and all in the perfect size. Cherry on top, it could arrive in 2 weeks!
The saleswomen Lauren was very helpful in answering all our questions about the warranty; when she didn't know the answer to our question she would quickly go and double check to make sure she was giving us the correct information.
Definitely would go back if I needed to buy more quality furniture in the future!

(Update: Thank you for the response. It seems like this is the default response to all negative reviews. Not sure what contacting the Customer Care line will exactly accomplish. It took me 2 seconds to find a review that detailed a similar experience, which saved me time from having to type out the whole thing, but based on my initial visit today, it appears as though not much has changed. It is disappointing but not surprising. Will not be contacting the customer line but your response is appreciated.)

She was so helpful, kind and professional; she answered every single one of my questions with so much care and knowledge. This is hands down the best customer service experience I have ever had; I am truly in awe. I will be telling all my friends and family about this. I have never been more pleased, she was absolutely outstanding. 12/10 experience!!!!!
