★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found a 2015 VW Golf... nice car right. Turns out it had some major issues that were not disclosed by the dealership. I agreed to a price based on a clean inspection ($24,000.) turns out it was leaking coolant, the boots needed to be repaired, and there was some rust issues in the quarter panels which they said were $150 to fix, and I could pay for it..... to take bubbling rust out and correct the issue is closer to $1000.00. The manager (Jordon) said that he would fix the mechanical issues and then I could pay the regular price he wanted which would be $26,000.00 for a 2015. This gut is out to lunch, and this dealership was the old typical shady used car dealer.
What a bad taste this has left, especially since we had also just bought a new F150 from NorthStar, and they were really great.
Will definitely report this to AMVIC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can’t say enough about the positive experience I had at Universal Ford/Lincoln. I was a first time buyer and Anthony walked me through all the steps. What to look for, the best fit, tossed out some quality suggestion, instead of just showing me what I thought I wanted and only that. Clearly wanted me to be walking away with the RIGHT vehicle instead of just the one I thought might be what I needed. Attention to detail was great, even looked at my old car and gave me a couple quotes depending on if I wanted to trade it in or not. On the test drives he kept it professional, walked me through features but wasn’t pushy, he let me enjoy the drive so I could get a feel for it myself without being overbearing. All in all, quality service from start to finish.

I was looking for a truck with specific options that I needed and between the salesman Ryan hurst and sales manager Harrison lam. They did everything they could to find what I wanted and was able to have it delivered for me when I needed it. They were very helpful at making the numbers work for the payment I wanted. Phil chow in finance was a wonderful guy to deal with and was very informative. I will definitely be back again for another vehicle.

On May 10, 2021 I purchased this car, and two days after, the check engine light came on. When I brought it in for service at Universal Ford, they ensured me it would be an easy fix since it was a new car. It's now November 19th and the car had gone through some major work and even had the engine changed. Even with all this work done the check engine light is still on. I will Never recommend going to Universal ford or buying a Ford at all. Service team unprofessional and sales team misleading.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had excellent service (and sales) for >30 years at Universal Ford. Some of the Service Advisors (Dagg) have been working there that long (that speaks well of a company). Universal Ford has earned my trust & confidence. Vehicle failure can cause anxiety - but prompt and regular communication (especially during delays for parts to arrive) from the Service Advisors relieves that anxiety. I also had an interaction with the Service Manager (Amit KARMALI) who was just as prompt and efficient as the rest of the team. Steve BLACK (Service Advisor) is a refined professional, knowledgeable, courteous. Universal Ford is my preferred dealership for both sales & service (I bought 2 Expeditions here).
