★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today my family was contacted by this organization to make a donation and I asked if they are affiliated with any religion because of the name. They said no to get a donation out of me. I did google this place to make sure and found that it is a Christian organization.
I told the lady that my family is atheist and she responded with a sorrowful voice and said we don't say we are a Christian organization! I told her I only donate to secular organizations and she had a judgemental tone when she replied.
So not only they lie to get a donation from you in the name of christianity which I find very problematic, but also judge you and try to guilt you for not choosing to believe and support any religious agenda.
People should be able to choose who to donate to and should be able to do so in an informed manner without fear of judgement. Can't remember ever getting scammed like this!
