Unfortunately their prepared food and bakery are not good. The day we went we got a cheese pastry and a guava pastry. They were both so hard and stale, they definitely were not fresh. The guava pastry dough tastes rancid. When they first started the bakery their baked good were delicious and fresh but not anymore unfortunately.

The pupusas are amazing, we frequent there on Saturday's and love the fresh pickled veggies with our meal and always take more home! Endless assortment of spices, beans and salsas. We've yet to get there on Taco days, it's on our list. We're always looking to get away from the overpriced cookie cutter chain restaurants and seek out the Mom and Pop shops with innovative fresh food and charm and reasonable prices for great food! If you want a fancier eatery, then be prepared to pay for that too, we don't mind the atmosphere in order to get authentic food. There isn't someone standing at your table after typical mediocre service looking for a 20% tip, just a warm thank you, come again invitation, guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I have gone at ten in morning it's closed, I have gone after work on the Thursday it's closed I have got off work early to go at 3:00 and it's closed . The posted hours mean pretty much nothing.

Pupusas are made fresh every Saturday and they are by far the best in Red Deer, a must try. My son loves the cheese ones.
