Les pommes de terre sont du surgelé. Les beignets grand-père étaient immangeables. Déception. Pretty and friendly family hut but the quality of the meal does not justify the addition which is salty ... Good ham but the rest is just passable. The potatoes are frozen. The grandfather donuts were inedible. Disappointment.

La musique traditionnelle complète l’experience à merveille. Une visite s’impose! Traditional sugar shack located in the heart of nature. Welcoming staff. Excellent food. A special mention for baked beans, criss ears and sugar pie. The owner of the place is devoted, warm and passionate about maple. His team supports him well. Traditional music completes the experience wonderfully. A visit is a must!

F	Francois Busque on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J'ai mangé dans de nombreuses cabanes à sucre et le Pic bois est nettement ma préférée. Elle est petite et ils recueillent le sirop dans des sceaux. Le menu est parfaitement réussi. Tout est délicieux. Le sirop est exceptionnellement bon. Je ne savais pas qu'il pouvait y avoir une aussi grande différence de qualité avec le sirop qu'on achète en épicerie. La musique est excellente, traditionnelle mais pas quétaine. I have eaten in many sugar shacks and Woodpecker is definitely my favorite. She is small and they collect the syrup in seals. The menu is perfectly successful. Everything is delicious. The syrup is exceptionally good. I did not know that there could be such a big difference in quality with the syrup that you buy in a grocery store. The music is excellent, traditional but not trivial.

Great maple syrup, maple vinegar, and maple butter, at very reasonable prices, and the owner gave us the best tour. Only wish I had bought more bottles before leaving! Note - not a restaurant (at time of writing). There was a cafe with food open in the village nearby.
