★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had such a wonderful time eating there. I tried their sashimi and sushi which tasted really great (specially the sock eyed and tuna). They even offered me two great sushis which weren't yet on menu to try them.
(I try to thank you at the end but I am not sure you understood me so if you're reading this, thank you really appreciated it).
I would gladly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Presentation is just better every time I come by. Food was excellent, fresh and delicious. Portion is huge with an average price range. Quick and friendly service. I get on-the-house dessert or appie very often :) welcoming atmosphere.

This special included a miso soup to start, the bento box gave you a bit of everything- rice, salad, tempura, sushi roll and teriyaki beef. If you are undecisive, then a bento box special is a very good choice. Great food! Great service! Deserving of the 5 star rating.
Hint: try get there early for lunch, we got there at 11:30 when it opened. Because upon leaving, it was a full house, as seating is limited.
They also have the best green tea I have tried in a long time. It's really hard to find a good cup of green tea!

Consistently quick, efficient and personal service from the wonderful long time staff. ( Thank you for remembering my specific likes and dislikes, and offering favorite details without being asked Tea'! My absolute favorite Japanese restaurant on the Island-no, across Canada. Love the cherry tree decor too- so fresh, cheerful and bright Decently priced menu too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was extremely happy with the meal and service. Covid safe with buttons on the table that were washed down between customers. Good food that was brought out extremely quickly. Is quickly becoming my favorite sushi restaurant in Nanaimo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really friendly, attentive staff. Super cute and clean interior, love the cherry blossom trees! Delicious food, many vegetarian/vegan options, I love the veggie lunch box and it's a great deal for all the food you get. Also good for getting rolls to go. Note: Miso is made with fish stock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Between 11:30 AM to 3 PM the lunch box special is a great deal for $13.99 and they have an entire sushi to go area. However I would only buy it during lunch hour as the rice could become slightly hard during dinner time. The prices and food quality is good but the sushi rolls are a bit small.
