★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reserved a pickup. As soon as I entered the store, Casey welcomed me and checked me in. Within 5 minutes, everything was ready and she walked me to the pickup. Since the pickup had snow at the back, Casey even wiped the snow off my pickup so everything's clean and I can load stuff at the back without being worried about it getting damaged.
Casey is an amazing Representative!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shady business going on here. Hitch install appointment was created by their call centre who confirmed the local U-Haul store are not allowed to make their own hitch install appointments. The local store called me to change the date/time of the install. I agreed. Drove 60km from home to the store, walk in and am told that their install guy called in sick. They said they would call me back to reschedule and they never called me back. Very shady business here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The truck itself ran well and I had no issues driving it and getting my job done. The location where I picked it up was terrible. The people working there do not have the slightest idea how to treat customers and do not deserve to work there in my opinion. Right from the start no one greets you, I showed a lady my reservation on my phone and she said "what's this" with an attitude, they told me the truck was in perfect condition but it turned out to have damage on all four sides so I sent dispute pictures, it was parked in a way which was impossible to access the driver door because it was about 3 inches from the wall so I had to climb through the passenger side to access the driver seat, and upon returning the truck the guy who did the inspection literally wouldn't answer my inquiries about the mileage amount etc. and when I left I checked my email receipt and saw they charged me for two days on both the rental fee and the coverage fee even though I had it for one day. When I returned to the office one guy told me I was overcharged due to a glitch, then I was told by a woman that I returned the vehicle after the estimated time I wrote I would return which had nothing to do with anything, and finally the inspection guy came out and abruptly said in front of the other workers that he told me everything so what was my problem. They did finally refund me $40. No apology and no respect. Truly below acceptable behaviour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had really horrible experiences with U-Haul in the past, before coming to this location. This place turned all of that around.
I visited a couple of times to rent a truck, and both times Casey went above and beyond to get me my equipment quickly and efficiently. She was so friendly, and accommodated me by cutting my wait time down, even when she didn't have to.
I wouldn't bother with the other locations in the city, but this one changed my perception of U-Haul from a company I can't trust, to one that I can depend on when I need it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Van did the job but the process is exhausting. I thought I did the early online check in before arriving but then had to spend an additional 10 mins taking a selfie, pics of my license, and providing info for a second contact that they would call (what’s the point of this?). They make you find your car in the lot, which for me was at the back, only to then instruct me to go to the front office to get the key - a bit backwards. Was also surprised at the end to find a sneaky 1$ environmental fee charged? Unnecessary. Will likely look to Home Depot to rent a cargo van next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find U-Hauls are hit and miss.
This one was a hit.
Reservation was there and good to go on time.
As with all U-hauls, moving dollies etc. nothing is ever in stock even if you're there at 9am.
Truck was clean.
Staff was friendly.
After-hours drop-off was great.
I was able to extend my reservation with ease.
Would rent again from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprised to have a really quick and easy transaction. Forgot the guy at the fronts name but he said he been there a long time and you can tell. He was quick professional , funny and really easy to deal with . Came out and topped up the washer fuild quickly after telling him the truck was low on it . Don't plan on moving again so soon but recommend anyone in the area use this place if needed .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I use this place often for my real estate business when I'm staging. The Etobicoke location is super convenient right off the highway. The hours of operation are also long so it's easy to rent and return trucks. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I will continue to rent trucks from this location and highly recommend this establishment. The photo attached is me in the driver's seat. It looks like a really big truck but it's easy to drive.
