M	M S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have being a customer in this bakery for 7 years. My family usually ordered the durian birthday cakes for family members and we liked it. However the durian cakes are getting different in quality. We don't mind to pay more for the quality cakes, but hope that at least they can keep the right amount of durian in the cake. The durian cakes we have ordered 2 times this years full of cream and a little bit of durian, also the cakes were dry.

This is the first time we had a very awful experience. The cake tasted really stale and is not in the condition to be sold. It had a sour cheese taste and it tasted like it was sitting outside for several days. Fruit cakes especially durian cannot last that long. And it's quite obvious about the freshness. When you smell it , it smells different than usual. This cake was supposed to celebrate a birthday in my family and we were left disappointed. We had to throw the entire cake out. This is unacceptable as we spent quite a bit and could've gotten a better cake elsewhere.

I remember them always paying for extra durian.. so I do remember how it tasted. It was really good. This time around, it’s my turn to buy for my friend who LOVES durian. I came and ordered a 12” cake because they told me the fruits on top would be compromised if ordered smaller. No problem at all! I also paid $10 for extra durian... on top of an already durian cake and told them to please make it taste good!!! I didn’t care about the extra cost, I just wanted to eat a really good durian cake (it’s been a while!) :) When I came to pick up the cake (early and not late), I was excited it looked nice and I gave them a $10 tip—-totalling $75. Few hours passed and we tried the cake... we were so disappointed we did not taste much durian.. a few of our family members that have tried this place many times also agreed. The cake wasn’t as moist as we expected but luckily the frosting helped... I gave ample of time by ordering more than a week’s time. For a $65+$10 tipped cake.. I did expect a little more.. a cake at grocery stores can be very delicious. Anyway, I really wanted to support and give this place a 5 star and continue to buy their cakes and pastries for generations to come.. but for now.. it’s a no from me. Sorry!
V	Valerie Phu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always been a fan of their cakes and pastries since I was young! They have a wonderful selection of pastries (pineapple buns are great!). Ordering birthday cakes from here is an extremely easy process and have been ordering from here for years. Definitely recommend to people who prefer lighter, less sweeter cakes than of the Western counterpart!
