I’m not sure if i just got a bad one compared to the raving reviews. This is just my personal opinion with the product I was received.
I bought the cold cut banh mi, heavy quotation on the banh mi. There was one thin slice of meat. One. As you can see in the photo. There were onions? I wasn’t sure when onions were introduced in banh mi’s but that took me by surprise. A whole lot of carrots. No pâté but instead i got a lot of mayo???? Service was even more disappointing than the food itself. There was a lot attitude Due to the fact I was unable to product smaller bills and was complaining about me in cantonese (yes i understood it fyi).
Again these are my personal opinion, so take it how you will. But I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless you like to pay $7 for a carrot sandwich with a whole lot of mayo. This was not a banh mi and i will die on this hill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love going to grab a few Banh Mis when I visit Calgary. The bread is just perfect. Crispy on the outside and light and airy inside. The satay chicken banh mi is divine! The owners are super friendly as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourite Vietnamese sub place in Calgary. I tried it because the very popular Banh Mi around the corner is always lined up. The subs here are better. The peanut sauce on the Sate subs is the best. Now I always go here and don't have to wait in line forever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Vietnamese subs in Calgary. Every time we come to Calgary we always stop by. They know us by our order even when wearing a mask. Satay Chicken and Satay beef no hot peppers and Honey garlic chicken no cilantro or hot peppers. The owners are very friendly and make the best subs period. If you’re close to China Town in Calgary do yourself a flavour and get a sub.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty solid sub!!! Very flavourful, and full. They did not skimp on ingredients. Service was very fast, and it was relatively inexpensive for a sub. The bread was not too crunchy, and it was overall a good size. Would definitely have again:)
