The staff is super friendly and helpful, the meal was out of this world exquisite, and the room was so cozy and quaint. Nestled in the mountains like it is, the scenery is terrific too. The Truffle Pigs is worthy of being a destination all on their own.

I had the steak Sandwich and it is hand on heart is one of the best steak Sandwiches I’ve had in Western Canada. Every ingredient on the plate complemented the dish as a whole, even the greens that typically get added just for colour we’re fresh and added a lovely crunch to the sandwich. It was a generously cut strip loin which I appreciate, a fattier cut will typically leave you with a soggy sandwich and no one wants that. My wife had the Mac and Cheese and it’s was also a beautifully created dish. It had that real taste of home cooking that many places miss the mark on with this classic comfort food. The service at Truffle Pigs is another stand out part of the experience. It was a young team on the Thursday evening We were there but they were so pleasant and professional. They could have been 30 year veterans the way they carried themselves. We never wanted for anything and felt very well looked after. To wrap it up, the whole experience had me wondering how many times I had driven by Field not knowing about this Gem in the mountains. We will be back, many times I’m guessing and you should too. Truffles Pigs is a must visit establishment if you consider yourself a foodie.
