Wow, Petra Buding at Fairview mall Transat Travel is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in my life! I have never wrote a review on a place but the experience I had was so astonishing, especially for a person who works in face to face customer service and over the phone customer service. My cousin is in the process of planning his wedding in Mexico, the deposit is due in April (May now but thats besides the point) I emailed Ms.Buding on January 26 I did not recieve a response to my request for information so I could arrange my finances and schedule till March 6th. Ms. Buding then infomred me that she had other things that took more priority then simply shooting me an email with the information i requested. She then began a sob story on how she works 12 hour days and still can't find enough time to do everything she needs to .... well hunny that's not my problem if you can't time manage yourself and prioritize people who are about to spend almost $2000 on a trip that is a LIFE EVENT, not just a stupid march break trip for $400. On top of that comment she said: "I'm also doing this on my day off in hopes to get caught up" excuse me? What do I care if you're working on your day off and even if you are you do not tell the client this! What was she looking for sympathy? I recommend not booking with this lady who clearly is so unprofessional she has to resort to looking for sympathy for taking on too much work. She has now forced me to begin planning my own trip instead of being able to stay with my whole family at the resort. Thank you so much Petra and Transat for completely ruining a week that was suppose to be taken care of and looked after, a week that I should be spending with my family but due to people negligence and unprofessional demeanor I now have to stress about getting myself there to be able to celebrate someone who is important in my life.

Came in with my family to try and get some information about a trip. There was only one agent working and she was talking to another couple. We patiently waited for about about 45 minutes for her to finish with the current clients. The reason for the low rating is because she never acknowledged us, never said 'hi' or even said "I'll be with you shortly" or "come back in half an hour" it was terrible customer service. We ended up leaving and going to the Flight Centre and got better and prompt service there. I would say avoid this place unless you like being ignored.

Love Transat! Claudia is amazing! She helped so much with planning our destination wedding! Any time we had questions or concerns, she was there for us, day or night, regardless if she was in the office! Definitely will be going through her for all our vacations! Definitely recommend!

I had a great experience here today and I find these the negative reviews very surprising. After a short wait I was welcomed by Petra, and she was willing to spend the time with me and helped me to book a trip to Cuba. Her suggestions were useful as well as she seemed to be familiar with the area. She took the time to explain the the booking in detail, and after the booking was done she sent an email to confirm a few extra details. I would easily recommend this business, and plan on returning.

My god i couldnt believe someone working there dont know how to welcome clients. We say customers are god . Claudia dont know how to say hello or good morning. She didnt even told us to have a seat. Its my husband who has to ask her can we have a seat. She looks like she dont hear. I was so disappointed by her behaviour. I will never go there again nor will i tell my friends to go there.

I bought a refundable travel package from them 3 years ago & it became canceled because of the pandemic & they supposed to return my money but after almost 3 years & according to several follow ups they’ve not refunded yet & even don’t give me a timeline for this refund, I don’t recommend this travel agency especially because Claudia works there.

Terrible Service Claudia is extremely unprofessional and lazy ! My mom booked her flight in August for a trip that was supposed to be on December 14th The trip was changed to 9 15 my mom missed her flight because her travel agent Claudia doesnt want to do her job properly and review the flight info before printing a ticket . We arrived at 10 to find out the trip that was printed didnt exist. My mom who is 60 needs Surgery and is physically disabled and was stuck at the airport for over 19 hours !!!!! We had to constantly call Claudia to figure out whats was going, she claimed to be on hold all day trying to figure out what was going on. Did not provide ANY solution to the problem then called around 4 and said the day was almost done and theres nothing she could do.which is crazy because thats literally her job and was paid a fee to do so. My mom ended up in tears and this lady at west jet helped her within 20 minutes Claudia was not sympathetic at all only deflecting the blame from her self . She claims she sent the issues up to the managers and told my mom to get a hotel and keep the records for possible refund My mother had to go get another covid test because her results were no longer valid My mom was unable to go to test centre in the airport do to her disability and its a far walk with her luggage so she had to cab to a shoppers and wait in the cold for the results then continue to wait in the freezing cold airport all night until morning for her new flight My mom is now exposed to numerous individuals due to the constant traffic in the airport in a pandemic !!! All because Claudia doesnt want to do her job and takes zero responsibility for her actions ! ABSOLUTELY WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE WITNESSED
