★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An exceptional store specializing in Nordic equipment. I've only dealt with the service department. They clerk was very helpful and got my binding issue fixed quickly. It is the last place near Calgary that still has stock for bindings - at least that I was able to locate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their rental service could use an upgrade. But their technician is a nice guy with loads of information. They have good equipment and sometimes at a really reasonable price when on sale. Always buy for your proper fit, even if there is a sale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renting at Trail Sports was seamless, and very convenient as it is right beside the Nordic Centre x country trail. The instructor was understanding and provided good tips for beginners and those looking for a refresher. The lesson didn't feel rushed, and we got to thoroughly practice before we started the trail. I highly recommend renting and lessons here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my years of coming to Canmore Nordic Center I have frequented this store numerous times. Until today the service & selection has been fine, mediocre ... nothing worth remembering.
I'm brand new in the market for a high end Cross Country Mountain Bike for racing (I decided last night). I expect to pay $4,000 - $6,000 for a high quality used bike.
However, I really don't know much about nice bikes. I ride lots on my 9 year old Santa Cruz Tall Boy. It's outdated, and I'm outdated.
It's the end of September ... I saw a saw a sign out frount - "Rental Fleet on Sale". (I thought this is the kind of shop that would have high end rentals.)
With out getting into details - rude service.
I can't help but think ... as I arrived at the store, looking quite uncool & probably quite old ... there was an instant judgement on the part of the sales person.
Yeah ... I suspect I'm not in the perfect 25-45 year old demographic. I suspect you will have better service here if you look really good, fit & youthful. (Probably the sales folks are high end athletes with not so much interest in 'try Hard's'.?)
I'll do my best not to visit here again. There are many great shops in downtown Canmore.
