★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my family went to the store today and I am very grateful with the assistance we got (I apologize but we didn't get a name). We asked about tire tube for the bike we bought last summer from there while we were there shopping for other items. We knew it was long over passed the exchange dates but we asked anyway to purchase. We got that tube to fix the kids bike tires and we did not expect to get it free.
Thank you guys! ???.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very pleased today with the high level of service and how attentive the staff were to customer needs. I called the store directly because an in-stock item I wanted to get wasn't able to be purchased online. I asked if I could get it curbside pick up and they said they could put it aside, but I would have to come in to pay now that the store was open. The associate asked if I would still prefer to get it curbside and then offered a workaround, where I could purchase it using a gift card, so I wouldn't need to come inside. This is what I ended up doing.
What impressed me was being able to come up with a solution to make it work for all. It would have been so easy and simple to just say, sorry nothing can be done. But to go the extra step and problem solve to make a customer satisfied, made it extra special. I usually have a good experience shopping at the Thunder Bay Toys R Us. The staff are friendly and helpful. But today, I left an even happier customer from this experience. And I'm glad, as my daughters and partner loved the item I purchased for them. (It was a child's picnic table.) Thanks Toys R Us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We DO like our 'Toys R us' store.. however since our daughter started Lovin'?MLP toys(@ge4) it's NVR been the place 2Go 2buy or find much of, even now that she's 9. Still, it is the place 4Most everything else. 2night buying Pokemon cards & remote control car?The staff are polite, very friendly & TRY?2help. But mostly seems they hope you don't need anything, I say this because.. The 1ST employee 2say "hello, can I help you find anything" I answered back "yes, do you have anymore costumes?" He'd replied- "Yeah- Uuh, I think- Uum, I'm sure there's..- actually we might hav..- You know, I don't really know 4sure!" Me: "Ok, thanks. I'll just walk around & check it out 4myself" (which is how I normally like 2shop- Being left alone, unless I specifically ASK 4Help) I understand completely, it maybe his 1st day. Let it slide. But when the 2nd employee asked me the same thing AND he too didn't know HOW 2accomodate me & what exactly I'm there trying 2find{/surprise} 4my daughter.. while she's also there with me. Sorry 4My long ranting review. No shade or complaints 2them. But don't do this &then next min follow me like I'm gonna steal something? especially when I'm spending??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful time today shopping! We bought a wagon that we wanted to take out of the store to walk home with but it needed a hammer to put it together. Even though she didn't have to Krista put it together for us!!! Thank you so much!!!! Super amazing staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute best customer service! Ryan the toy manager went above and beyond expectations for us. We purchased a bike for our daughter and he was so unbelievably helpful, when other stores in town wouldn't assist us in sizing Ryan saved the day with his outstanding customer service! Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you to Ryan and Jayme L at the Thunder Bay location. Ryan approved a big price match on a car seat for me with a smile on his face. Jayme was very polite and was very helpful. Jayme even did an extra solid for me but I will not be sharing what that was as it was a special case, just know I appreciated it. Every time I go to this store it’s always a positive experience and I will continue to shop here for all my child’s needs. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure when you buy a breast pump that they actually have the replacement pieces for your pump at the store. If not you’ll end up paying a ridiculous price for shipping. Tried bringing it up to the company to see if this can be fixed but they were no help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my children in today for the Easter princess scavenger hunt. It is so nice to see More activities coming back to the store.
The guy running it 'J' was awesome. He is so great with the all the kids. This is the second activity we have been there for with him running it and he always makes it fun. I really like the way he talks to the children, not just the parents, he always asked if it is ok to take photos of the kids having fun. He is also very knowledgeable about the toys the store carries. When ever I have needed guidance in any way trying to figure out what toy I am looking for he always has the answers and will often make suggestions or give me ideas on what is trending and popular. It is always a relief for me to see him working when I am in.
