Tough Painting - Calgary

Tough painting did an amazing job on our interior - the painting was phenomenal, the attention to detail, and leaving our home very clean during the process.

This company was referred to us from someone in the community and I was majorly disappointed: We entered into a contract to get our interior of the house painted (baseboards replaced, filled in, walls to be painted) and the timeline was 2 weeks. 1) He went 3 weeks over (So the entire project took close to 2 months). 2) He started the project with a lot of enthusiasm and later on he was rushing and you could see the sloppiness. 3) Never took accountability for his work and I had to point out things which he failed to tell me about - which I found really odd. 4) Always blamed others for his negligence - caused some damage to my wooded floors by moving a fridge. 5) Last week of the project one day fought with me really aggressively and perhaps that I was alone in the house and of "female" gender felt he could outshout me. I have never dealt with anyone in Canada like him before and this was really unprofessional! 6) The contract stated that the final payment would be paid after both parties did a proper walk through (which we never did) and he had all these excuses of how he was out of pocket. So, we just paid him despite doing a walk through. 7) 1 room he hasn't even finished the baseboards (red filling is still there) and despite having told him - he hasn't made any arrangements to finish off his job. All in all his work was really disappointing and I am so upset about the way he finished off. I will never hire/recommend him to anyone. I find he is full of excuses and as the saying goes "a bad carpenter always blames his tools" is the best way I would describe him.
