I would simply never recommend this salon to anyone. First, owner of the salon showed up 20 minutes late. Only found out she was going to be late when I arrived and there was another customer sitting on the curb waiting. When she showed up, I was on the phone. Stayed in my car for about 2mins of her arrival to finish my convo. Walked in still on the phone to a rude person not even saying hi, making signs for me to sit. I answered to her rudeness by letting her know she was late at first and I certainly do not deserve this rude attitude. She responded rudely telling me "she was not in a good mood today." Which was nothing of my concern. Bad days happen, it's normal. But freely disrespecting customers when they are bringing you business is abnornal. 2n of all, when I pulled out the braid packs, I was, once again, rudely informed that I would have to pay 5$ per pack since my braids were not "pre-streched". I told her I wasn't aware of such policy and if I was I would have gotten the proper hair. She told me it's everywhere on her website, including "salon rules section" which I looked for an never found. I tried to show her the steps taken to book my appointment so she can see why I wasn't aware of this lazy policy and she couldn't even look at me. All she kept saying is she is not going to argue with me. Today she's not in the mood for it. Like I deserve to be treated like that. I felt trap. 38 weeks pregnant, my deposit was non refundable and only place that had opening based on my availability. I had to drive 30mins to go exchange the braids. 3rd, when I made it back, the girl actually doing my hair asked me to pull my money out in order to start my hair because she didn't trust I would pay her, as it happened in the past. It was very embarassing to be treated like that. I had a melt down because I felt trap. I am 38 weeks pregnant, so can give birth any time from now, was just trying to get my hair done before baby arrives and the only spot that I was able to book last minute treated me like s. This person clearly lack of customer service skills. She is rude, disrespectful and not nice at all. She should be out of business or doing hair from her living room so people's standard and expectations be match accordingly. This is an experience that I do not wish to anyone. ***Edited version after Owner's response Instead of addressing my honesty in your response I think you should have addressed the way you handle this situation as a "professional owner" should... Saying you arrived at 2:03 is a not really accurate. Either your time or mine need to be adjusted. My record showed that I was on a phone call that started at 2:08, and like you confirmed, you arrived and I was already on the phone. Meaning you arriving at 2:03 can't be. In no way I stayed outside 10 minutes to finish my convo since again my record show that my phone call only last 3m16s . Which confirm my original say that I stayed 2mins outside to finish the convo then entered still on the phone and hung up once you signaled me to sit... I did reply to your gesture by saying you were late because your whole attitude & non verbal was rude. Furthermore, saying that I was "fussing for 30 minutes" is also inacurate since my 2nd phone call to Clore Beauty Supply was made at 2:18 which is approximately 8-9 max 10 minutes after trying to explain that I did not know about such lazy policy and that I had to quickly google search if there was a Clore in your area to avoid having to spend extra money to a different store. Finally I never used my pregnancy as an excuse to feel entitled. I only mentioned that so people could understand why I chose to STILL stay in a place like yours after being disrespected like you did. I was trap. You did not want to refund my deposit, which I wasnt going to let you steal from me, and with a due date in 2 weeks I did not have much time to search for other salons. I have no time to waste lying in a review. So again, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, no sympathy whatsoever. Would never recommend to anyone.
