"This for me has always been about skill development. Too many young players and parents are focused on winning and team play. Spring and summer hockey is also a detriment to players developing. Isolating players at a young age and signalling out who is better in novice and atom is hurting the game. Spring and summer hockey is where kids total focus is winning, team play and very little focus on skill. It is not a coincidence that our skill level as a country has dropped while people and programs make thousands of dollars off parents for these spring and summer programs. Hockey school numbers are down and summer tournaments are up. This hurts our game. Hockey schools taught individual skills and made the game fun. Spring and summer tournaments focus on segregating players from their peer groups and identifying who are the stronger players at too young of an age. That's why numbers drop as well. It's starts with the parents. I hope eventually they figure it out."

Within months of being taught how to shoot and more importantly hold my stick my game improved drastically. It’s the little things that torjager doesn’t skip that makes it special. *** put your kids through a checking camp***

Thanks to the Coaches for building up his Skill set and confidence. We will be joining them again! Props to Wade and his team!
