★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to give this place a chance, since the reviews were good and the photos were very promising! I was aware going in that there would be a language barrier but I really wanted to give the place a try! Tony was kind and friendly, but when it came to my hair, I was disheartened and very upset when the appointment finished. Tony did say sorry towards the end of the appointment and encouraged me to come in the week after to address the coloring mishap. I was too upset to say anything and weary of how to tell him (which is my fault) My hair came out purple....
I am used to a stylist working directly with me from start to finish. The salon was busy and he was jumping from client to client while working on my hair. I think it would have worked if I spoke fluently in korean to better communicate my wants and needs.
