Great atmosphere and decent food and drinks. You’ll be hard pressed to find good seats because it’s so popular but once you sit down, you won’t want to leave because it’s such a good place to lounge! I got a cappuccino and the toast bellissimo and I was thinking of it as a light snack before the main lunch but I had to change my lunch schedule because the portions were quite large. I wasn’t complaining, though, because the food was delicious and it meant that I could stay at the beautiful cafe for even longer while taking pictures and reading a good book. I would come back here just to grab a cup of coffee and chat with a friend for an hour or two!

I was visiting MTL for a weekend and was excited to try this place for Sunday brunch with 2 friends. Unfortunately we got there at 11am and although I expected it to be busy, it wasn’t full of people eating at tables - it was full of students studying at the tables with finished drinks, hogging all the space. I politely asked two local girls (who had their books spread across a table for 5: see first image) if they could share the table with us 3 and they rudely rejected my request. We had to order our food to-go as a result. Fortunately there was one kind Vancouver-native who made some space for us. So the restaurant loses 2 stars because it’s up to the manager to impose some rules to allow actual patrons to enjoy the space. It is not ok to allow students to dominate a cafe that’s not even in a student area. I hope in the future I can visit without seeing a bunch of books and no food on the tables. It’s bad for the community and bad for the business.

Visited this cute cafe on our short visit to Montreal. The food was good and seemed like the place is very popular. So it became very crowded to the point people had their orders in hand but no place to sit.

A cafe I’ve been impatiently waiting to visit! Such a great, aesthetic, therapeutic cafe! The baristas are so friendly too. The croissant and the coffee I got was also delicious. I would love to visit again next time I’m in Montreal!

The best meal I had in Montreal by far! I had a large mocha and salmon bagel. Everything was delicious. My sister had the waffle and my brother in law the salmon avocado toast, which were both also very tasty.

Such a great vibe from the moment you walk in. There are two floors (loft style) with plenty of seating for couples, groups, or solo goers. The ambience was good for working in or having a chat with a friend. Super friendly staff too. The food was delicious and perfect for brunch (portion wise and flavour pallet).

Very cute little place! Super cozy. The food is also very good! Looks, smells and tastes yummy. It is on the pricey side though. You get a *small* cup of hot coco for $5. PRO TIP: It is SUPER crowded on weekends and pretty loud. So, if you’re looking to get work done - you may end up with a headache instead. Also, the earlier you can go the better because you may not find a seat. Wifi available. Plugs available, but next to few seats. PS: The photos are of salmon toast and breakfast croissant. Portions are okay. I didn’t feel full after nor was I still hungry. However, I eat less than an average human so you may still be hungry after ? Overall, worth a try!!

If you’re going to visit any Tommy Café locations, make sure it’s this one. So cute and charming! On our 3 day trip, we were there everyday day. I ordered the Lucky Charms Latte which was both cute and delicious! And the vibe and aesthetic of the little cafe is too much to handle. Loved it!!!
