β β β β β This place was SO delicious. I loved everything about it my kids are everything on their plates too! The only reason I took a star away is because my husband was served the wrong burger and the waitress sort of argued with him about it for a second. But I've never had a better burger and he thoroughly enjoyed his once the correct one came. Such a neat atmosphere too! If I ever come back to Vancouver I will definitely want to come here again. Maybe for breakfast next! ?

β β β β β Nice little restaurant in a not so busy area, the staff were nice and friendly.
I ordered the Skookum Chief burger w/sauteed mushrooms, it was so delicious especially with Charles hot sauce.

β β β β β Interesting decorations, looks like a souvenir shop at the entrance. I found the food was too salty but the fries were great. We were the only guests there in the late evening but I heard this place is very busy in the morning. The waitress was bit in rush when she asked if weβre ready to order when we first sat down and then come back to ask again within a minute. Turned out it was because it was near closing time. She was still nice though.

β β β β β They were extremely kind to accommodate our car club of 9 guys. Food was delicious and portions were huge. Had a nice chat with the owner and you can tell he really is passionate about the business. Would absolutely return here, and recommend this place to all my friends.

β β β β β A great spot for brunch, especially if you're visiting, or new to Vancouver. The Tomahawk has a large selection to suit everyone's tastes, the prices are fair, and they use high quality ingredients (the hashbrowns are super crunchy). From Benny's to big brunch platters, they have it all. If you're going with more than 2 people, make sure you get there early because the line can get pretty long. Can't wait to come back again!

β β β β β The restaurant definitely has some character of its own; so, we can see why it attracts visitors and why it has become a landmark but, we didnβt find the food to be as memorable.
We went there for lunch and, even though the menu has many options, it was hard to find anything interesting that wasnβt breakfast oriented, similar burgers/sandwiches or basic diner food. For example, the burger descriptions were almost the same, except for an ingredient (absent or present).
Anyways, that wouldnβt have been an issue except for the fact that, even though the food was good, it didnβt really exceed any expectations.
We had the STEAK AND MUSHROOM PIE, which was the most successful; the CHIEF DOMINIC CHARLIE BURGER, which was OK; and, a LEMON MERINGUE PIE that looked better than it tasted.
The service was friendly.
