I’m too mad right now to write a civil review. Hooters trying to imitate Hys. The food was good, excellent in fact, except steaks had to go back to be cooked to order, as it arrived in dribs and drabs, over 30 minutes. Not even served at the same time. The last steak arrived about 30 minutes after the first. Horrendous. Not even an apology. Was told the kitchen was closing as we were finishing our steak at 8:15pm on Mother’s Day!! Reso was for 6pm. (Had to ask the waitress to take our dinner order) So obviously desert was off the table. Mandatory 18% tip for a party of 6!! For the 5* prices I would have expected at least 3* service. Especially on Mother’s Day. And the place was empty!! The music was too loud to visit comfortably. I wonder if the owners know that a property trained staff is very important for success. This place should just close the doors now. I will continue to help others spend their hard earned money elsewhere, spreading my reviews where I can. Thank you for a terrible birthday and Mother’s Day dinner.

Visited this place on April 9th with my husband for date night. Here’s the breakdown: - Lobster bisque tasted like salty thick tomato soup with not even one piece of lobster. - Bone Marrow came out cold, had to return it for a new one. - Baked oysters had massive chunks of onion at the bottom, which over powered the oyster taste. - Tomahawk steak w/ half a lobster: asked for medium rare, it came out medium to well done and completely tasteless. The lobster did not taste fresh or clean, left a gritty texture in my mouth. - Creme brûlée was runny. - Caesar cocktail drink was sent back cause it tasted really sweet with no taste of worcestershire sauce and/or Tabasco in it, even after it came back it was still a NO. -The music was so loud I couldn’t even hear myself think. We left Tomahawk feeling super underwhelmed, having spent roughtly $400 on dinner, our date night was completely ruin unfortunately. ? So overall, the only thing Tomahawk has going for them is the name, otherwise if you want to spend your money on expensive tasteless presentation, by all means give them a try. Will definitely not be coming back here, and I am not a person to dismiss a restaurant. I had spoken with someone on their Instagram account and was told that the owner would contact me, however it’s been 3 weeks and no calls. Guess we all make promises that we can’t keep.

We were craving a good steak and we really wanted to enjoy Tomahawk. We gave it a shot despite the 3.7 rating and less than flattering reviews.  First red flag, the restaurant was empty at peak dinner hour (630 PM). Overall, if I had to describe the experience in a couple words, they would be OVERPRICED, SALTY. The first thing we ordered was a Mango Mojito, which took 10 minutes to arrive despite the bar having zero customers. It was disgusting.  The only semblance of anything Mango ? was a sad, dried piece of Mango at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, it tasted strongly of rum and dried, bitter lime. The drink was garnished with an old lime and a wilted piece of Basil. Sad. The bartender either has no idea how to make a drink, or simply doesn't care. For our appetizers we ordered the bone marrow and bocconcini cheese salad. The bone marrow was good ? as was the salad (pretty hard to eff up a salad), but $20 for a salad with 5 pieces of fried cheese ?? For the entrees we had the Tenderloin and Bone In Striploin.  Tenderloin was delicious,  cooked perfectly, amazingly tender but a bit salty. The striploin was unevenly cooked, but tolerable.. and a bit salty. We tried all 4 side sauces which were all insanely salty and the bearnaise sauce was separated and looked like half melted butter. This restaurant needs to drop their prices significantly, or up their quality substantially, or they will not survive. This isn't the high end steak restaurant they are tying to be.  The service from our waitress was really good. She was friendly and attentive. The only other staff member I physically saw was the manager who seemed nice, but was sitting in the bar on his laptop the entire time. I wish Tomahawk well,  but I won't return.

This was the first time at Tomahawk but it will not be our last. The service was outstanding. We had Martin as a server and he was exceptional. We had numerous people that helped at our table from Fredriko to other managers. The food was great and prices are on par with other steak houses. Lots of options to choose from. If this restaurant keeps up the quality of food and service it will continue to be very successful. Thank you for our great experience!

Visited the Tomahawk last week with family, it was my sister's birthday and we were there a birthday dinner. From the service to the ambience to the food, it was fantastic. The steaks were properly seasoned, and cocktails were delicious
