★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great value for great food! Atmosphere was great, this was actually our third stop of the day looking for somewhere to sit and have a drink and eat.
Only deducting a star because our yakitori was cold and the beef a bit overcooked, but the taste and tenderness of the chicken was lovely!
We also got the black ramen and chicken Katsu curry!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a regular customer who orders online multiple times a month but since there is no salmon combo online for pick up ordering I decided to come inside.When I went inside I noticed that there was only one salmon combo left and it looked pretty old so I went upstairs and asked to have a fresh one and waited for it. 5 minutes later the worker goes downstairs and picks up the same one that I looked at. If I am going to wait I’d like to have a new one since that is what we discussed while checking out. I knew that particular cashier heard what I asked for and knew she was picking up the one I checked already, since she was looking at it on her way upstairs. Its truly unacceptable to wait and be given the same one I didn’t want. Please refer to the photo below management.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FOOD: i tried the black ramen, red ramen, chicken wings, tokyo curry beet brisket and all tasted flavorful.
SERVICE: People were friendly.
PRICE: Affordable and good value for the quality. On average each item is cheaper than what you would buy elsewhere for the same quality.
ENVIRONMENT: It's a nice casual date spot. It's self serve so you find your own table and go to the counter to collect your food.
OVERAL I would recommend to all my friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super chill location, I like how you pay upfront then pick your spot this is really convenient for the workers and reduces traffic in the restaurant. The food is pretty cheap and fairly good. It’s not crazy good or anything but the location is nice and unique and that adds to the experience as well

Food is amazing. Gotta say better tasting than ever.
Ordered curry - chicken katsu, my fave. (Already mixed it when I took the photo. Sorry bout that.)
Overall, it's a great place to eat and food tastes amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most attractive part about Tokyo Street is not the food, but the environment. It has a great atmosphere inside, with tons of snacks available to purchase as if we're suddenly not in Calgary.
However, the food itself is just good but never exceptional. I used to visit here a lot because it was very cheap. But now that the prices have increased with the food quality slightly downgraded, there's just not much of a reason to choose here rather than somewhere else.
