About Tinkerbox Child Development Centre
Our Daily Routine/ Schedule are posted in each playroom for parents’ information. Each group follows a scheduled daily opportunities for outdoor and indoor play and activities appropriate to their age and developmental needs. Basic routines like washing hands, meal times and nap/rest times are kept to be consistent and predictable to help children understand their environment and feel secure. Time schedule or duration of each activity is flexible and adjusted based on the age and developmental needs and interests of the children, special activities (off site activities/ field trips) and weather. A balance of quiet and active times are planned to help children learn how to pace themselves. Schedule is also planned that balances whole-group activities, small group interaction, alone time and child-directed open play to foster the importance of community, value of friendship and respect of individual needs

The wonderful lady that owns it now, took care of my 2 children for 5 years in her home before closing her day home to start this new venture. After going through 7 horrible day homes with my son, it was a HUGE relief to find her when my maternitiy leave was up for my daughter. I can for sure say that I trust no one with my children as much as I trust this wonderful lady. She truely cares and has the patience of a saint! My daughters halo is balanced on her horns and she was not an easy child to deal with.
I fully endorse this day care and wonder Tita M!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service, the workers are very rude with the kids along with the Supervisor, especially with the smaller ones. Poor kids. I stopped taking my child there as soon as i could. They just wants the money but dont give any kindness for the kids. Dont go there. I am not recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely awful. The main director is hard to deal with and downright rude. My son was in there for 5 days and then kicked out with no notice because of 'behavioural issues'. I do understand their opinion on that matter, but they did this with no notice whatsoever or any communication about the issues. They are now refusing to refund us for the full month we paid them, and my son was only in there for 5 days. We are now pursuing legal action to get our money back. Dealing with this daycare has been horrible on many levels and if you are considering putting your children in this daycare, I would strongly advise against it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In case you were put off by the previous owner (when this location was called Mama Bear Daycare), rest assured that the new owner takes great pride in the quality of care provided to the families. The staff is warm, caring, and loving with the kids --- you can tell they are there because they love kids and not just because it is a "job". The space is clean, the meals they provide to the kids are varied, healthy and sound delicious, and parents are consistently updated on how their kids are doing. Excellent daycare!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We're very happy with this daycare. Tinkerbox is a lovely, cozy little daycare with a location that is convenient for our family. The staff is engaged and positive. Marissa, the owner, is caring and accessible. We feel updated with what is going on at the daycare, and most importantly, our toddler is very happy.
We're confident with our choice and it makes being away from our child much easier knowing she's in good care.
