The whole interior has a rustic air which fits in so well with the atmosphere of the mountains. There is very convenience for the dancers… [and] there will be a lure for the dancers from 100 miles about, and a continual source of delight for tourists within the park. The building was designed by Messrs. Haug and McLean, but Superintendent Cromarty of the park revised the plans, and added many little touches with add greatly to the charm.”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Live music on Saturday night. Nice assortment of appetizers and the food was amazing. I had the mountain Burger which came with three large onion rings on top. It was very juicy and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The listing says they are open until 01:00. I was there at 20:00, but they were closed. I came from out of town and was looking for dinner. If I had known this restaurant and all the others in town are closed, I would have pickup food in one of the other towns I drove through. I have been planning my road trips for weeks now. I had selected this restaurant and put it in my itinerary based on the pictures, reviews and the closing time. I knew I would arrive late the first day of my road trip. Please fix the inaccurate listing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let's start off with went here Twice on a over nighter had lunch and dinner for was great staff was as well especially ray had me in stitches.. only reason I'm not handing them the 5th star was pricing 10.5 for a 16oz beer is a little pretentious for such a quint little town ... but nonetheless we did go back and they had live music. Next time I'm there I will deffently be going back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good value for money! I was so surprised by the portions of their food. I ordered the fish tacos and holy I couldn’t figure out how to eat them because they were huge! A little disappointed by the size of the garlic fries considering I paid extra for it, but otherwise still tasty.
Definitely recommended if you’re visiting Waterton - great place with great ambience perfect after a long day outdoors. Very friendly staff too - will definitely come back.

Server was very friendly, and the service was very good, as well was the atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best selection of craft beers on tap in town, including some from nearby towns in southern Alberta. Fish tacos were insanely big (enough for 2 people) and so good. Waitresses were friendly and came around just often enough, not too much. Also love the wooden interior. All around top notch experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were drawn to the Thirsty Bear by the live music. We completely enjoyed our food and drinks and the musicians were fantastic!
The only negative thing we have to say is that the Quesaberitaas there could have been two more on the plate.
Overall, fantastic atmosphere, staff and food. Would definitely go back!
