The whole experience is incredible! We had great food, amazing service, and the top: they have 3 vegan options from the main dishes!!! I had the cauliflower steak and Jada, our knowledge waiter, asked for a vegan sauce for the salad. Thank you, we'll probably come back next time in town!

We came in because the menu looked interesting. Sat outside on the lakeside patio, it was quiet and the view was amazing! Crab cakes, steaks, and dessert were excellent. Our waiter, Brad, really made the experience. He made us feel comfortable and welcome, was attentive without hovering, and had good recommendations without feeling pushy. We overheard him talking to other patrons, and he is great at flexing his style to suit each party. It was a wonderful dinner!

Great food, awesome view of the lake & impeccable service. I was able to make a reservation & I was also able to alter my reservation for later. I got a table indoor by the window as requested (it was too chilly to have dinner outside, but would highlight that they have an outdoor patio which is right beside the lake!). Our server James was an excellent knowledgeable professional! He confidently recommended a red wine I enjoyed based on my preferences. He also brought to my attention the type of steak I ordered was a baseball cut & recommended the right cook for me. The meals did take longer than normal to prepare, but as it turned out, my friends & I were happily visiting & were fine to chat over our drinks . He did offer us an honest explanation on why the food was held up & offered some complimentary extras in return. We enjoyed our steak & short rib meals very much. James elevated our dining experience to above & beyond! I would have gone back for another meal but alas, my party was leaving the area. Great first waterton experience. Eat here & ask for James!

Calamari Batter was a little thick and crusty and a tad on the oily side. But calamari was tender. Served fresh. Suprised by the heat in the batter. Doesn't overwhelm the flavour but it remains on palate for a while. Complimented by the aioli sauce. Salmon grossly overcooked and dry There was no seasoning on the salmon. Other than the charcoal on the salmon. The salmon was burned to a crisp on o e side. Staff offered to serve another salmon portion but centre came undercooked. Salad was very citrusy... would have loved them to cut the acidity with something.... Broccolini overcooked and limp. Veggies lacking in seasoning. Steamed plain. Would be fine if the brocollini wasn't Cooked bitter. Mashed potatoes were heavy and almost tasted like instant mashed potato. Saving grace was the short rib. Was tender and flavourful. Pulled apart easily. Korean lettuce wraps. Confusing. Was expecting sweet and sour. But only the dish to be sour. Missing the sweet accent. Veggies were overcooked again. Green peppers made for a bitter aftertaste. Chicken was not cooked fresh. Precooked and reheated. Would not visit again. Apple pie - made by the local Mennonite community. Light and flavourful and not overwhelmingly sweet. Pairs nicely with the vanilla ice cream. Wish there was more filling! Service was good. Manager and servers offered replacement salmon and comp. Dessert. Timely service despite a full dining hall and short staff.  Ambiance is also very nice and pleasing. Sadly I go to restaurants for good food. This restaurant did not make the cut. Especially for the pricing of the dishes.

Well the view from the patio is stunning overlooking the lake. I had lettuce wraps which were good. Odd the shrimp was battered and deep fried. They recently changed it as waiter never knew even and I will say this was a fail. Bad idea from a great cook. Short rib was tender, tasty and a home run in my opinion. It was done right to perfection. An elderly couple was celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary so I asked waiter Brian to check if they wanted dessert on down low so I could pay their total bill unknown to them. Which they were not getting so I paid their bill and mine, congratulated them once again and left them to be surprised to have a meal bought from a stranger. This is kind of event / love we should celebrate to witness and strive for. I tipped Brian well for checking on the dessert as I appreciated him doing it. Staff friendly, restaurant clean and overall amazing food. Pricey of course but on par with Waterton costs. Definitely worth checking out and you will be happy with that short rib. Still drooling thinking about it.
