★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard lots of hype, but was very disappointed with the experience. We were a party of two, immediately sat down at a sticky table and had to move over. Sat for about 10 minutes without menus and were asked what we wanted before we even got our menus. I was excited for their smashed avocado toast but decided against it as I didn’t exactly trust the establishment to deliver. Staff were flighty, flustered and dropped off the wrong meal to our table at first. Hot chocolate was strangely salty, but mostly just bland. When we did order, I chose the blueberry compote waffle. Unfortunately, the buttermilk waffle had the texture and flavour of an Eggo toaster waffle. Compote and crumble were exactly fine. The mountain of “whipped cream” that came with the order was actually a cheap “cool whip” style topping, not classic whipped cream. Some people might prefer this, but I was disappointed with the sugary, oily consistency. I ate one piece and didn’t feel like finishing. Despite our nearly untouched plates, the staff did not come to ask us how we were enjoying our meal or if there was anything else we needed. Left dissatisfied with the food and service.
(Also, maybe not a great place to bring kids? The TV monitors in the restaurant did not particularly set the right tone. One of them was playing a very adult-rated stand-up comedy special and the other was playing some graphic Animal Planet programs.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breakfast was delicious, the prices were fair and sitting at the bar the service was excellent. They always checked on my coffee and ask if they could get me anything more. They also offered wifi to their customers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was disappointed by the quality of the food here. The breakfast sandwich I ordered ended up being pulled pork and an un-melted piece of processed American cheese on burnt white bread. The service was good, however, and it looked like other people's meals might have been more appetizing than mine

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great breakfast and location. Within walking distance from many hotels in Waterton. I ordered takeout breakfast for three, and the staff were quick and friendly. A must try in Waterton!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tastiest food in Waterton town, been to all restaurants,like all restaurants here things are pricy. However divine croissant, raspberry and cheese Danish ,hot chocolate.
Pizza by piece is not bad either

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was fantastic. Yes might be a little pricey as per a previous comment however we are in a national park, miles from any other restaurants, it is expensive to operate in a remote location like this.
One of the best Greek salads I have ever had.

We were standing in the patio area and staff/Server Justine (with a smile that beamed on to forever) came out of the restaraunt and actually said Good Morning and Invited us inside for a coffee. What?! Was this one of the top lesser known secrets learned in an MBA program for strategic business implementation? Nope. Just plain old hospitality which we willingly fall for Every time. Breakfast was avocado and toast but they took two simply ingredients and created a memorable meal. Thanks Justine! and Continued Success to Pearl's Cafe.
