About The Yoga Junction

I hereby solemnly swear to embrace The Yoga Junction experience, to not live in fear of farting while in wind removing pose, to always speak my truth (even if it includes the F Bomb), and to always support others.

By embracing The Yoga Junction, I refuse to be defined by someone else’s definition of yoga. I will create my own definition and share it. I will embrace adventure, seek truth, and live authentically, all while having fun. Sometimes, this may include cocktails, socializing, and retail therapy but will always include a soft spot to fall.

I promise to always be gentle and honour myself and others, be my own best friend, and support my peers on the same journey. Above all, I swear to always come from a place of love and acceptance for myself and those whose path I cross.

J	Jessica Williamson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a unique offering in Airdrie - I have been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and this is the first studio that has been able to foster such inclusiveness. Their mantra is yoga for everyBODY and they are truly living out their brand. The classes are attended by your 'non-typical' yoga folk - men and women of all ages who are coming to move their bodies and ease their minds. I attended a candlelit restorative class that was so beautiful and helped me sleep like a baby. I've also witnessed that sound bath classes are sold out with waiting lists - I would recommend giving it a try! Congrats to you on your new studio!

No judgement and “you do you” are mantras around there. Yoga really is for everyone here. There are no mirrors which is wonderful for focusing on how you feel. They also offer a variety of classes- all have been wonderful and super beneficial. I also attended a retreat and it was absolutely incredible. I will be making thr retreats a regular part of my wellness routine in the future. A great way to fill your own cup! ??

Kristen is especially engaging and an articulate teacher. I highly recommend her Calm by Candlelight class to finish off a hectic day.

I've frequented many yoga studios over the years - I love yoga - but have never found a studio that I liked enough to join. It usually came down to an atmosphere I didn't like and catty people. But the Yoga Junction is different. The ambiance is welcoming and there is none of the nastiness that I have experienced in past studios. "You Do You" is their motto and I truly feel comfortable during the classes to do whatever I feel in the moment. Another bonus is that they have the best instructors! I've attended classes with almost all of them and they are a huge part of why I keep going back.

I am not a Yogi but ........... I am getting mobility back after neglecting my health and putting everything and one ahead of me. I would not point out one teacher over the other as they are all so good to ensure you feel welcome and confortable in their classes. The space is clean & lovely, but the knowledge of all the instructors has been a huge health benefit to me.
