The internet at 160 Sherwood is incredibly unstable. On this Thursday the internet was down for the entire day and got fixed on Friday afternoon. It was such an interruption of life and study. Although it got fixed, it would be down for at least several times a day. When I contacted the apartment office and they asked me to get in touch with the internet provider directly. Also, the shuttle bus is too small to fit students from three buildings. In the mornings and afternoons, the shuttle is definitely full and not every student can get in the bus and the next will be in half an hour. The apartment office doesn’t seem to have a plan for these problems. Bad experience, never recommended.

It’s been ok. The shuttle is constantly full in the mornings and makes it difficult to get to campus on time, often making you leave an hour early just to make sure you get to class on time. And soon there are going to be new buildings and with an increase in students I hope to see a positive change to the shuttle system provided. There has been a lot of lint in my suite, like you dust and turn around and it’s already back amount. Location wise it’s great that it’s near a grocery store, but there is only one bus stop near the apartments and it is often late.

I've been a tenant at The W for 3 years and this is my honest opinion: - STAFF IS VERY ATTENTIVE (answer my calls/emails and solve any issues in a timely manner) - PERFECT LOCATION (banks, grocery store, convenience store, beer store, McDonalds, Tims, in the plaza 2 mins away) - THE ROOMS (my favourite parts are having my own bathroom and the room being furnished) - SHUTTLE EVERY 30 MINS (BTW there are peak times where it gets busy, and seats fill up fast but I either get on an earlier one or get in line for the shuttle a few minutes early if I know it’s a busy time of day) - FIRE ALARMS (they ring once a month for testing, and we ALWAYS get an email reminder of the date/time they will be ringing) - CLEANING (in my building I have seen cleaners come in weekly, so the hallways are often vacuumed, and foyers are cleaned and mopped weekly) - WORRY-FREE LIVING (whenever something in my unit is not working, I simply call or email and they send maintenance to fix it ASAP, my roommates and I always get an email stating maintenance will be coming so we are aware) - SAFE (like I said this is my third year living here and I have never felt unsafe) - EVENTS WEEKLY (yoga, movie nights, etc.) - AMENITIES (gym, study rooms, lounge, outdoor patio w bbq in the summer, etc.) Overall, my experience here has been nothing but amazing. I have personally never experienced any of the issues mentioned in the other negative reviews posted.

I LOVE living here, The W is the BEST student living in London. The apartments are all new, very spacious and nice, literally nicer than my actual home. The apartment already comes fully furnished, including everything you need, especially the huge flat-screen TV! In addition to the amazing apartments, there's a free gym, 3 different study hall rooms, and the main "hanging out" room called the junction which includes a coffee machine with a huge variety for only $1 (I would recommend the mochas!) that has a pool table and 3 different TVs. There is always fun and interesting themed nights held in the junction such as yoga, movie nights, Christmas ornament decorating, BBQs, bingo (where I won a $10 Starbucks gift card), and much more! There was even a Christmas apartment decorating contest where my roommates and I won a big gift basket full of amazing goodies and high-end skincare products, from Madison and Janny themselves! If you ever have any problem, or even just need somebody to talk too Madison is always there with welcoming arms. Janny and Madison are amazing at their jobs, they are at the W every day during the "open hours". They have both put in such hard work to make everybody feel comfortable and safe! One thing about the W that is very special is how safe it is. As somebody who stresses a lot, I never stress about safety living here. There are locks and keypads on EVERYTHING! You need your own code to get into any of the amenity buildings, there is a lock to get into every door of each building, a lock for your actual apartment door (obviously) but there is also a keypad lock on everybody's actual bedroom door! If you are somebody like me, who struggles with money and might be a little discouraged by the price, DON"T be! It's SOOOO worth it, I'd be so lost living anywhere else. With everything that this student living includes it's worth every dollar of the price. I decided to live here first year at Western instead of on residence because of Covid, and I'm so happy I did. :)

Best student apartment in London! There is a free shuttle that goes to Western every half hour, a free gym, and a lounge with $1 coffee, a flat-screen TV, and a pool table!!! Also, every student has their own bathroom with a spacious bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The building managers/ staff host events every week which allow the residents to get to know each other. For example, there is yoga, ornament decoration making, movie nights, barbeque lunch in the summer, and many more. Do not let the poor reviews discourage you because this place is amazing!!

I’ve been living at the W for the past year and I never had any issues. Some of my favourite things about The W are: - shuttle bus that takes you to and from campus every 30 minutes - Amazing location: there is a grocery store, Tim Hortons, McDonald's and a bank within walking distance - Amenities such as a lounge, study rooms and a gym - Furnished rooms, which make moving in quick and easy - The staff are always very kind and attentive! Overall I would definitely recommend The W.

The shuttle service is pretty consistent and on time and has enough capacity. The gym and common area in the middle are nice too. Depending on your building you may have a ping pong table in the lobby. Walls I think are pretty thick, generally most sound from other roommates leak through ac vents and through doors. Nice location beside the grocery store and mall. Internet is ok at 50 up and 50 down. Maintence responds and does work pretty fast 24-48 hours. I find there to be a lot of dust for some reason, despite our air filters changed very frequently. Some residents are pretty disrespectful, constantly leaving trash in stairwells, elevators, and hallways

I’ve lived here for over a year and never had any issue that wasn’t promptly addressed and resolved! The shuttle is a huge convenience and management hosts events regularly to foster a sense of community. They are friendly and so welcoming! My suite is spacious and I appreciate the frequent checks on things like fire alarms and smoke detectors (which ample notice is provided for) to help me feel secure. The location is very convenient with a grocery store, dollar store, and Shoppers located within walking distance. I have found rent to be reasonable considering it is all inclusive, with in-suite laundry, individual bathrooms, and access to amenities! I would definitely recommend the W.
