β β β β β I came in for coffee, ended up having breakfast. It came fast, but not too fast. Food was extremely high quality. They even have pink salt in the shakers and pepper grinders for the table. Local produce and food from a local place. I also asked if I could stay and work for a little while.. Of course they said! The also offered me free drip coffee refills on my americano. Wow.. great service, great food. I've found my new favourite breakfast place. Shhh.. don't tell anyone!

β β β β β Wonderful experience! Very friendly, caring staff. The restaurant itself is clean, fresh and modern, with lots of natural light. I ordered the Village Hash 2.0 with portabella mushrooms, and it was one of the best breakfast choices I've ever had! No joke! It was perfectly seasoned and the veggies were so fresh!!! It felt healthy and energizing. Second on our order was the Breakwater salmon omelette and a Caesar. Their housemade mix is delicious (not too clamy). Highly recommend brunch here!

β β β β β Victoria is known for its brunch scene and I have to say that this particular restaurant is by far my favorite. I haven't had everything on the menu but I've worked most of my through the benny options. I highly recommend the caveman benny. I make coffee for a living and the espresso based drinks are up to my standards as a cafe manager. Praise I don't typically offer. More importantly, the people that work here are leaders in the hospitality industry. Each and every single person that I've talked to from front of house to the back of house are really good at their job and are genuinely cool.

β β β β β Lovely little spot in the heart of Victoria. The service was great, and the food was quite good too. I am giving them 4/5 though, because nothing we tried was unique or beyond what you would typically expect from a brunch at this price level. Would definitely recommend this spot over other overrated restaurants like Jam.

β β β β β I really enjoyed my visit today to the Village's new location semi-attached to Swan's. I came just after the rush when things were quiet. The staff were welcoming, interested, helpful and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. The ambience is lovely. I really like the booths, chairs, counters and the cedar. They've chosen nice indoor plants. It's fun and relaxed. Plus it's kid friendly which is a huge plus in my books.

β β β β β It was a cold fall morning and as a tourist I was looking for a warm beverage and meal, and happened to spot the "Coffee?" board from 4 stores away. Had a lovely brunch and coffee. The latkes, bennies and sandwiches are all fantastic. Special mention to the Village salad - one of the best sides I've had in years! Ambience is cosy and inviting. Double thumbs up for leaving out a few chairs outside the store for patrons in-waiting (the real reason we waited 20 minutes)!

I had Pho Ga for brunch. The soup was very tasty but it would be better if the soup was hot (mine was just warm, not hot enough). The chicken in Pho Ga soup was a bit dry too.
I would come back to try their dinner menu one day

β β β β β Ghost Ramen was absolutely delicious! Food & service were amazing as was every dish we tried. The McBao was a personal favorite and honestly ANY of the ramen choices will make you happy (I've tried almost all of them). Also a bonus is they have a vegan ramen option. Don't wait! Go already!
