Manager is quite aggressive, doesn’t listen, mistakes made from the beginning without apology or understanding. Sold me a service they then couldn’t deliver on and flat refused to consider any kind of compensation when my delivery didn’t get there in that time. Very poor service from the beginning. Will never use this store again.

This UPS location is very disorganized. MaΓ±ana of the packages waiting for pick up are not securely stored.as quite a few of them are upfront in the waiting area visible & accessible to all. The staff - especially the Manager is extremely rude,, impatient. Each time I have set foot in this location I get the impression that they have better things to do than to serve customers. Overall a horrible experience. The only thing that this UPS outlet has going for it, Is that it’s location is handy

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. DREADFUL EXPERIENCE. The capricious details of my experience with this business are malicious and humiliating. I am deeply disturbed that customer service like this exists in Victoria. Mara Dillon, the blonde woman working at the front desk, also known as the owner of this location, is an abysmally vile person with a serious chip on her shoulder. I walked in the door in an upbeat mood and approached the first member of staff. I said hello and enquired politely about returning a package. She ignored my hello and in a condescending tone asked β€œWhat’s in the box?”. I replied that it was an article of clothing I needed to return. Once she started processing the return I asked her for a receipt and she said she couldn’t give me one. At this point I’m frustrated - I explained to her that I needed a receipt incase this package gets lost in transit. She yelled at me and said that there was nothing she could do. I was speechless at the fact that I was just yelled at by the owner of this local UPS. This experience may have been short-lived but it had a ripple effect on my perception on this local business and the owner. I am in complete disbelief by the egregious behaviour from the owner, her actions speak volumes about her as a human being. It truly seems like she gets a kick out of acting superior to her customers. I truly recommend all Victoria residents to avoid this location and to go to a different one. You will thank me.

I've never had poorer service in any industry. They could care less. Tried to drop off pre-labelled boxes (5), and was told no not today. What's the point of even opening the doors if you are not accepting UPS deliveries. Took them to UPS in OakBay and they were terrific.

The lady running the store was chain smoking with a bunch of "friends" who was also heavily smoking and conversing outside. She walked into the store, asked right away how many boxes I am returning, and that I was responsible for securing the packing slip, not the clerk. I told her that is not the case to any other UPS, Purolator, nor FedEx store in the city. She said it is for this exclusive location; I shrugged my shoulders. She presumed that I was a foreigner on vacation and I dryly responded I was born and raised in this city, was merely in the middle of my staycation unpacking in my new home. Her response was, "Well, that's no fun?" And my only thought is please do not have my packages go missing or else I won't get my 2 refunds. The moment I left the store, she went back conversing with her friends. Luckily she did pull through and both packages are in transit back to the warehouse according to Amazon tracking; thus upgrading from original 2 stars to 3 for this review. She will get the job done but kind gives that uncertainty whether she would or wouldn't? Glad she pulled through but I really didn't need the anxiety and unexpected stress on my first experience in this location.

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. I'd have picked another location. Store seems completely unorganized. I had two small packages to drop off. The lady (who had just finished berating some customer on the phone) told me to put them on the floor next to some shelves. One of those packages is well on its way. The other shows that it's still at the store waiting to be picked up. I called to see if perhaps it had gotten pushed under the shelves or something. Instead of saying, "that's unlikely, but we'll look" she proceeded to explain how the system works and that the package wasn't there. Except that when I told her that the driver would scan each package as it was put on the truck, and no scan had been done, so it must still be at the store, she tried to tell me how the UPS scanning system works. I was a UPS driver for 30 years. I'm familiar with how it works, thanks, and everything she told me was incorrect. Zero effort to look for the package. Didn't even want to know the tracking number. Not impressed.

I very rarely leave any sort of negative review, I would rather just forget about bad service, but this UPS store is abysmal in terms of customer service. The employee up front offered zero service and has the worst critical thinking of anyone I’ve ever dealt with in a public service job. She should be working in government with that type of attitude and work ethic. Unfortunately I do not have a choice in the matter and have to find my own solution on how to ship two UPS boxes. Thank you for absolutely wasting my time.

Wherever I have lived in Canada or the US, I have had to ship many boxes across country and across borders. Of all the shipping companies, I prefer UPS. They get the job done, period. Packages get delivered on time and sometimes even before time. I brought in a package on Dec. 23 to be delivered to my granddaughter who lives in a small community outside of Edmonton. I figured it would probably get there after Christmas. It was delivered on Dec. 24 shortly after 12:00 PM, less than 24 hours in transit. It was like a small miracle! I have become acquainted with Mara over the last few years and like her very much. She has her own no nonsense style which I appreciate. Most mortals would not last a day trying to run this very busy business and Mara handles with aplomb. Fortunately, she also has the efficient and delightful Ling who helps her get the job done.
