I have done so as a Corporate Representative, then as a business owner, and personally. Their services and products have been exceptional and, inherently, above concern or reproach. I have also not hesitated to recommend them to other businesses, colleagues, and friends. Professional, Knowledgeable, and depenedable Thank you TTE!
D	Douglas Wasson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My laptop failed to boot one day. I took the laptop into TTE and the problem was diagnosed as a failing hard drive. The recommendation was to replace the current hard drive with a solid state hard drive. The diagnosis also said TTE could recover all my data. I gave the go ahead with the repair and installing a clean version of the OS on the drive plus copy over my data. I received my laptop back by the end of the next day. The service was excellent.
p	peter bunge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just bought the Philips 32" curved monitor to use for video editing. It is superb! The upgrades of RAM and a second Solid State Hard Drive have been a big improvement. The service from the staff who know their stuff was excellent.
B	Barbara May on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ May 2022 -- I have just had an excellent experience with The Trailing Edge. Paul was able to work with me over the phone to determine what part would be needed to solve the problem with my laptop. Because I did not have complete information there was a small chance that the part he thought most likely to solve the problem would not be the correct one. He explained the risk. Further, he explained the work that would be required, the costs, the timing and, when I asked, TTE's pick-up and delivery service. He explained everything in a clear and business-like manner. I listened carefully and decided that what he had to offer including the small risk that the part would not fit would indeed suit me, and I gave the go-ahead. I sent him a deposit and he ordered the part. When Paul had the part in hand, he arranged to pick up my laptop, took it to the shop, did the work promised (the part was the right one) and arranged to deliver the laptop to me personally. On delivery, he demonstrated that the problem was solved and stayed for a few minutes to answer a couple of questions I had. I paid the balance on receipt. He gave me a paper receipt on the spot, and offered to send me an electronic receipt marked "Paid" and I accepted the offer. That receipt arrived promptly. I also had a small amount of electronic waste, which he took with him when he left, to be disposed of appropriately. I believe TTE has a sledge hammer that can be applied to the old hard drive. What more could I ask? Nothing, at the moment, though I suspect that I will be dealing with The Trailing Edge in future.

They stock well-chosen mostly refurbished computers of all kinds (I like the Lenovo products, which are high-quality business models). I've bought a desktop, a laptop, and a Chromebook there. They also do servicing, which is excellent. And to top it all off, the store is well organized and the staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
D	David A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here because the ottawa refurbished computer shop we had purchased our last two laptops from closed due to the pandemic. We could have gotten a similar refurbished laptop much cheaper online but wanted to support local. We got a refurbished HP laptop. First problem was that despite having 8 in stock none had been started in months. So while we tried to find something to do for a couple of hours they started one up and did updates. When we got it they tried charging us $100 more than the advertised price. Thankfully we were paying attention. Once we started it up the next week for remote schooling we found the headphone jack didn't work which is kind of essential when you have multiple kids all in the same room doing school online. We tried everything we could find to fix it but nothing worked. We contacted TTE to ask for any ideas. Their recommended solution was that we buy a USB headset, although they also said we could drop it off for a week or so and they would look at it. I checked and saw they still had several of the same computer in stock so asked if they could test one there and we could come in and just exchange it since we needed it for online schooling. We offered to come in that day even though they are really far from us. They never got back to us. We have bought refurbished laptops b4 and never had an issue. The lack of customer service though was the biggest problem. Will not go back, nor recommend them. May as well save a lot and buy one online.

The manager Paul Middelveen whom was eager to help me even though I had not purchased anything. Competitive pricing and knowledgeable service technician. Great selection of refurbished monitors which come with a warrantee from T.T.E. A business model of how a business should be run from A to Z. Thank you Paul I do appreciate you.

I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and the Customer Relations is excellent. Paul Middelveen, the store's owner is very customer service oriented and ensured I was completed satisfied with the services provided by the Trailing Edge.
