★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got some True Custom goalie skates at the skating lab. Amazing effort from Jeff and his team to get me the best fit possible. Never had comfortable skates before. The skates aren’t even broken in yet and they are so much more comfortable then my old bauers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at the craft of sharpening and repairing skates. Jake is a phenomenal instructor and in just a few treadmill sessions has worked wonders on my daughters stride. Would highly recommend their services!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to bring my young skaters to help build leg strength and for the great teaching that their staff provide. Have seen an improvement each time they go. Place is always clean and tidy and always willing to give extra advice to help my guys better preform on the ice. Highly recommend this place. They also provide the best sharping in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff has been most excellent and really really thorough in helping my son extend his gait and stride. What a difference. We had about 8 sessions and enjoyed each one. They even identified the skates were too small (kids don't complain about this) when it was noticeable in the stride. Would definitely recommend the Skating Lab.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found the Skating Lab online and saw it had good reviews so I decided to check it out simply to get my older son's skates sharpened after he was called up for a couple of games and practices and the coach noticed my son was slipping a bit which wasn't typical of him, and suggested I get his blades looked at. The reviews are right, this place is great. Jeff took a look and confirmed that the blades did indeed need a little sharpening and took me one the spot -- no waiting. He also noticed that my son's skate laces were shot so he replaced those as well. Jeff even showed me a different technique for tying the laces to make them more secure, and kept my son's old laces for a demo he was doing the next day (he conducts online seminars, so he really knows his stuff). Super friendly and knowledgeable, I'll definitely be going back and next time I may book time for my sons on the treadmill!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been taking my son to the Skating Lab for over 4yrs (excluding 1.5yrs with covid). Jeff, Jake and the guys are excellent in helping him improve his skating technique, speed and performance. I always end up buying a package of 8 sessions in advance because the pricing is fair and they schedule to our availability. Their knowledge and experience in helping kids (and adults) is the best I've seen. Not just on the treadmill but overall, their knowledge is deep. Got advice on the right skate for my son's style, position and performance, plus they do a great job profiling the blade which again has helped him in his game. You work hard each treadmill session but the guys make it fun and they really motivate the kids to improve while enjoying the sessions. Highly recommended.
