Even though I had a breadth of experience and knowledge in analytical chemistry techniques through academia, I was having a difficult time transferring from academia to industry. The decision to pursue a diploma in QC/QA in pharmaceutical sciences at AAPS helped me in finding a job in the industry. I learned a lot and enjoyed every aspect of this program. So, I would like to say thank you to the AAPS team for your support in providing me with guidance, a co-op opportunity, and references. I wish good luck to the AAPS team and future prospective students!

I was a Canadian university graduate who had trouble finding work due to a lack of specialized training in a particular field. I chose the QA/QC program at AAPS as it sounded very educational and well-rounded. I was not disappointed! I received both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical and applied training in a lab that was extremely transferrable to the current requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. My professors were smart, kind, and all had such varied experience in many areas. They provided unique, personable training as the class sizes were small, which meant no student felt left behind. The school also provided 1 on 1 help with my resume and interview preparation as well as continuous support throughout my job hunt. I was successfully hired at Thermo-Fisher during the Covid pandemic and before even graduating! My role is to support senior chemists in method validation and testing for clinical trial drug development, a role which makes me feel like I am positively contributing to the ever-evolving needs of the healthcare industry. I would not have gotten here without AAPS

When I first came to Canada from Iran, I was looking for the opportunities related to my back home experience in polymer and chemical engineering but after several unsuccessful interviews, I quickly found that I wouldn't be able to get my dream career without upgrading my skills in QC/QA and fortunately I came across the AAPS. I completed a diploma in Pharmaceutical QA/QC at AAPS, and it was an excellent experience. The instructors all have work experience from top pharmaceutical companies, and brought a ton of industry knowledge and practical knowledge to students. They are always available to help students develop themselves, whether it was for technical questions. Ewan, Kevin and wonderful Vania helped me a lot. Other than the courses, Laleh the dean was very open to helping students and ensuring that they had a smooth transition into issues like OSAP, work permits and even connections to industrial companies. There were plenty of free workshops for students to learn how to make themselves more marketable. Honestly my experience in AAPS was a very positive one, with a happy ending. I would recommend this college to anyone looking to enter the pharmaceutical industry! Actually after finishing 80% of my program, Vania ( students service manager) helped me to have an opportunity for COOP in industry and soon I got my permanent job in same company and it was really great that I was able to enter the work place immediately. I would like to show my deepest gratitude to Lale, Kevin, Ewan and Vania and other staff who has a concern for each student and who fostered an environment of growth and success. Very professional instructors and staff. The instructors are very well experienced in their relevant fields. I attended a post- graduate diploma with AAPS and it made a great difference in starting my career in clinical research and drug safety. The instructors and staff were also very supportive. They also help students with placement and coop.

My Post-Grad Certifications taken at AAPS were a great way of getting industry-specific specialized training, as a supplement to my post-secondary education program. The AAPS facility had a professional, industry-current laboratory, with a wide variety of instrumentation and equipment. The Professors / Instructors are very knowledgable, and always willing to help. The skills and knowledge I gained will definitely be helpful for job searching, and for actually performing roles in the industry. Would absolutely recommend!!

AAPS gave me hope when I needed it the most in My life. The college allowed me to study post-grad diploma, and I am so glad that I can find jobs based on that. AAPS was a great learning opportunity for me into the pharmaceutical and Cannabis industry. With well designed courses and lectures, and a very dedicated and student orientated staff, AAPS is an excellent place to start when you want to get training and Resume qualifications on current methodology and applications in Industry. The instructors really cared about educating students, and overall was a great experience not found in a normal educational institute. Go AAPS!
