Did some sick stuff earlier but needed to find a place to hang our hats and grab a shot and a brew. Well, beer led to more beer, as they say. We stayed until closing that night. Normally we would have departed sooner, but Josie was taking such good care of us, we were enjoying ourselves too much to leave. We mingled with the regulars a bit, had a blast playing shuffle board and chilling on the patio. This bar has been going strong for 38 years, as per Josie herself. To me, it was no surprise. Even through my blurred vision, I could see how passionate, strong and genuine this petite Italian woman was. You should come here if only introduce yourself to the lovely owner. You won't miss her: she's 4 feet of concrete, and she'll get ya' feeling good.
