Not a very comfortable stay. We were here for a month. There's a constant loud fan that runs 24 hours! I asked maintenance about it and all he could say was there's nothing he could do and that all the residents complain(video posted)! If everyone complains then fix it! The couch was seriously uncomfortable like a rock and the bed was no different. Now, we're in a pandemics so you would think that this place would be sanitized to a whole other level...not even close. Like others had mentioned in their reviews, the blinds literally fall down as soon as you close them. It's pretty sad considering how much you're paying. It was also unfortunate that our washing machine broke but I do have to say it was fixed quick and why I gave 3 stars as I felt everyone was very responsive.

I’ve lived here for over a year now and my experience with Minto Apartments has always been an easy and pleasant one. The building is in an amazing location and the staff (especially Peter, the building super and all the maintenance staff) are always very caring and helpful. I’d recommend this building to anyone, the suites were already upgraded, but they’re currently upgrading and renovating them to be even more chic. I heard the amenities are getting a big upgrade as well! It’s also so close to my dogs favourite dog park which is a huge bonus!

Everything breaks, blinds fall out just from opening them and when something does break you get blamed, aggressive dogs, no one answers emails or calls the maintenance on site is a whole nother story. My dog has even been tied up in my suite when I wasn’t home. The management off site are wonderful though.

Booked a 1 month stay to be near my son who was spending the month at Holland-Bloorview Childrens' rehab hospital. -They didn't have a room ready for us when we arrived even though we were very clear about arrival time and they were clear on who we had to contact when we arrived, similarly it took like 4 attempts to get a parking spot and check-out was also chaotic -The common areas smell like pot and the ventilation system pulled in someone else's cigarette smoke to the point I actually gagged -The furniture is super uncomfortable -The building is under heavy renovation so their was jackhammering pretty much every day and if there wasn't the building going up next door was busy driving piles into the ground -I actually left and spent the last week I was in Toronto in a hotel

Not sure why my previous review was deleted, so I'm leaving another one minus 1 star. The building really has so much potential, the renovated suites are beautiful, the location is amazing... but living here has been really disappointing. The building has been under construction, so elevators take forever because the construction crew is always using both elevators. The amenities have been closed for a few months now and after inquiring about reimbursement for weeks, they finally agreed to give me a credit of $75 total when my husband and I have been paying $300/month to use a nearby gym - which obviously was not included to our budget planning when we were looking for a place. They also say they are able to offer a β€œquiet suite” if needed for loud construction days, but the only time I requested to use it they told me to use the management office where a lot of people work from or alternatively I could go to an outside office space Minto has, which is a couple of blocks away - but they only told me this 20 mins before the time slot I had requested for a very important work virtual meeting. I also don't feel particularly safe here as I've personally seen people from the street wait to tailgate residents and leave with boxes in the middle of the night, plus at 2 different occasions the construction crew just walked in my apartment when I was alone with no notice, (they said it was by mistake and to be fair this was several months ago and after complaining it has not reoccurred). The worse part for me though, is that I've been treated very disrespectfully by some neighbors but at this point I just keep my head down and count the days to be able to move.

Ongoing renovations on all floor hallways for over a year with no end in sight. No amenities are available. As an apartment becomes vacant it is gutted and the floors are ripped out using impact tools that can be heard throughout the building. Contractors clog the elevators and litter the parking garage. Constant noise and dust from construction. Absolutely no consideration for the current tenants. Minto used to care about people.
