★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this store. As an educator, I appreciate having a local option for quality educational and play-based toys and fidget items. The staff is friendly and we have made several connections over social media and in-store. Children LOVE the items I've purchased here: wooden sushi kit, magnetic letter tracers, fidget clickers, a plush Monarch that goes through the life cycle, etc.. It's always fun to check out what's new!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If 10 stars was an option, these folks would get it. Great selection, friendly staff, excellent service. If you are in Kingston and shopping for kids, this is your stop! If you are even a semi-regular, they will make a point of learning your kids names and interests.
Lock-down? No problem! They will deliver and will find a way to hide your parcels safely. I can't say enough about this store and the people who run it, if you have the means to support them during these difficult times - please do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Rocking Horse is hands-down our favorite toy store. They have an excellent selection of top-quality toys, and the staff (Meagan and Monica) are super helpful if you have any questions. They make an effort to know you and your child by name, and can help select toys that are appropriate to your child's needs. The gift registry is an excellent option for people with family who live out of town--my parents in BC have called the story to get advice and help ordering items. I have always found the prices of their items to be very reasonable--especially for such quality toys. And it is so nice to support a local business who does so much for the community. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this toy store. They are wonderful; we are so lucky to have them here in Kingston.
I mean, just look at this gorgeous kinderfeets bike! ❤️
