Quiet building, very clean and good living space for one person. Ron made moving in a breeze and is always super helpful.

Ron is the worst person I have ever met in my entire life .

Horrible. My partner and I (although the landlord would only refer to us as friends despite having seen us walking around holding hands and such and there are only single bedrooms in the building) had assured that it was a nice and quietand safe building (of course we expected some noise as it is downtown near the legislature annex) but once we were moved in there was non-stop noise from both tenenents as there is very little insulation between units (could easily hear both screaming matches of other couples and conversations of people in the unit above our own). None of the appliances worked well and place was a mess upon move in but nothing was written down by the landlord. The side door entrance looked as if someone took a crow bar to it and it was hanging open half the time anyway and the mailboxes were all busted into but instead of notifying anyone of what happened there was a hand written note saying "mailboxes not working". Along work the constant issues with elevators (for about 2 weeks they would not go to the floor selected but the landlord wad nowhere to be found or able to get ahold of) After finally being able to move out it was a huge hassle due to no communication between landlord and company that owns the building. My partner and I were still billed for a month after we had moved out even tho we had given more than enough notice to us leaving causing even more problems at the bank once again due to miss management and lack of communication. Good place of you don't spend a lot of time there as you will either be listening to the elevator, other tenants, incredibly loud traffic, or the constant stream of protests, concerts, and general public playing around the legislature grounds until 4 in the morning.

So first of all, I made an appointment with Ron to see an apartment. I show up and Ron is nowhere to be found and I could not reach him on the phone. When I contact him via email he claimed he never made an appointment with me....I am not crazy. I called and he made an appointment with me for 1pm on Monday. Anyway, we reschedule for the next day, Tuesday. When I get there, I call him and he comes down to meet me. Upon opening the door he points to my toddler and says, "Is this yours?" Come on! How can you refer to my child as "This" ? so anyway he said that this is an adult only building so I can't live here with my son. I have not seen in any ad that this is an adult only building! Where is this advertised?? Nowhere that I saw. Anyway the entire experience was exhausting, frustrating and Ron needs to retire ASAP.

Not safe for female tenants. An intruder try to follow me into my home. The onsite building manager said, "it's not his problem and I should expect strange people in the building when it's cold outside". I tried following up with the property management (Mayfield Management Group), and they are yet to respond to me 3 months later.

5 stars give to the new manager. I should've given 1 star if they hadn't changed the manager.

Had an incredibly difficult time attempting to get in contact with Ron (the building manager). Even when we did manage to get in contact with him he was very rude. It is time for Ron to retire. Mayfair Management Group, you need to realize the amount of business Ron has costed you, and replace him with a new building manager.

I've been living here since September 2020 and I fully understand the negative 1 star reviews. I've had some issues as well however I wanted to be fair and give 5 stars mainly because there's a new landlord who seems to be more organized and on the ball with things. So if anyone is interested in this apartment and feeling turned off from the bad reviews should no longer need to worry. The location is great and the views of the legislator ground is amazing and will get better once construction is over.
