Very unprofessional with the handling of our pet. Last visit was only half a job but still with the cost of complete grooming. One side of his nose hair was way longer than the other side. Had several nicks throughout his hole body. But I think her cutest touch to her grooming would be the one eyebrow she cut off. Sorry but I had to give at least one star to be able to leave a review. Would I recommend this groomer to anyone. (NOT)

$60 for a hack job! Dropped my fully brushed (with the exception of his ears) puppy off to get groomed today and picked him up to a completely shaved pup. When I got there they told me he was matted all over. Before I took him I ensured that all knots were out, but his ears yes were matted so I was expecting those to be shaved down. They showed me the mats that they cut from his ears to what made me feel like a horrible dog owner but had no proof of the rest of the matting “all over”. When I got him in the car I looked closer at him and realized he was not even at all! With patches of hair and random long hairs all over! Lazy shaving job done and very disappointed. For the “knots” that would have been there, they could have been easily brushed out instead of shaving him down to the bone. Will not recommend to any friends or family looking to get their dogs groomed. And lastly, for the groomer, it would have been nice if you called me before ruining his puppy cuteness and I would have taken him to someone who knew what they were doing. 10/10 would NOT recommend unless you’re looking for an expensive hack job!

The staff at The Paw Spa always go above and beyond. My dog Cooper struggles with anxiety and they are willing to come outside and help settle him down so he comes in on his own. I'll never take him anywhere else.

Owner was extremely rude. Yelled at my daughter who was talking to our dog to make him calm. Didn't treat dogs well - certainly didn't seem to love animals. Gave me a nasty look when I paid. My daughter and I walked out in disbelief.

Shirley has been our dogs groomer for many years, through two Westie's. Our girls always look great and I think they know it too. They have a look at me prance to their step coming out of The Paw Spa. Our Westies, like most of this breed, are small dogs that have big attitudes around others. Sasha and Trinity before her both loves visiting Aunt Shirley.

My pup loves being there, and he looks great afterwards! Just make sure you make an appointment well in advance as this is an understandably busy place.

I took my young Golden Retriever here twice years ago. I thought she seemed to do an okay job in terms of grooming, but the first time she said he had a mat by his ear and it needed to be shaved but it seems like she cut way too close to his ear and he given him a cut/razor burn. She put oil of oregano oil or something like that on it which was weird and I was concerned if that was a good thing to put on to actually sanitize and help with pain, so I dealt with it myself. She also told me he is a bad boy on a leash and scolded him, but like I told her he walks on un-populated trails mostly trails off lease, and when in a more populated are he uses a harness but she didn't take his harness and had those chain choker type things. The second time I took him back he was shaking so hard while we were waiting to be checked in so I just comforted him and assumed he was nervous being left somewhere because he has separation issues. When I picked him up (again no grooming was adequate) he practically ran to the car. A we were driving he was sort of whining or almost crying, it was so strange. He loves riding in the car so it was super weird, and he came up into the front seat and then continued to "cry" and climb into my lap while I was driving and he is a very large dog (approx. 70 lbs). After we got home he ran out of the car and into the house. He was upset the rest of the night. Strangely enough I was telling someone else in the area about this strange experience soon after, and she said she had heard that the woman who owns that place abuses the dogs. We never went back and he still has anxiety about being groomed to this day.

I bring my dog Bhaloo for grooming on a regular basis and always find they have done a fabulous job. The are accommodating and flexible and always have such a happy demeanor. They have gained my loyalty.
