The Paw Pet Spa is Edmonton’s finest pet spa and boutique for Dog and Cat Grooming. We book much like a hair salon for people. Our preference is to keep your precious pet for as short a time as possible and we do our best to give you an exact pick up time. If you need early drop off and/or later pick up we are happy to accommodate within our regular business hours.
We make every effort keep your pet paired up with the same groomer each visit to foster a healthy working relationship between them and to better cater to your specific grooming preferences.

Pet Grooming and Bathing
All of our clients – canine or feline receive the Luxury treatment with appropriate Shampoos and a full service of trims, shaves or cuts in traditional or more unique styles. Just like their human counterparts – our pets deserve the best, and we’re here to provide the care and attention due.
For Pets with Matting and Pelting
Our professionally-trained and certified groomers provide high-quality cat and dog grooming. Our motto is “Humanity over Vanity” especially when it comes to matted or pelted animals. Matting and pelting can be very painful and potentially life-threatening to your furry friend. Though you may want to ‘save’ as much fur as possible, shaving it down is often the best thing to do! We’ll help you decide on the best strategy for the difficult matting situations that many of our pets face.

The staff was very great to deal with, super friendly, took great care of my dog and I’m just really thrilled overall. Will be back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In December of 2021 I brought my cat in for his yearly groom. I informed the groomers that he has been more nervous than normal lately, I asked to get my usually clip with no bath. I was called back into the store ten minutes after dropping off my cat and was very rudely and abrasively yelled at by my groomer who insisted my cat needed to be sedated in order to be groomed. I understand my cat is an animal who may have been stressed out, and I never want to put the groomer’s in harms way. However, being yelled at and spoken to disrespectfully is never an option; the groomer was so abrasive that I was afraid my cat had scratched or bitten her. When I asked, she said my cat never did anything to her, just that my cat was “jumping” around. I’ve come to this establishment many times before, but I never will again. I payed $40 for absolutely nothing except being yelled at.
I left feeling quite shaken and the receptionist called me to apologize for the groomer’s behaviour. Horrible treatment. If a groomer cannot control herself and resorts to yelling at customers when stressed then maybe she should find a different profession.
I later took my cat to another establishment and he was successfully and easily groomed, so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been taking my dog here for years, always arriving early and tipping well. I was usually satisfied although a couple times he came home limping - I mentioned this to them and it didn’t happen again. Sometimes his cut was a little rough but I didn’t complain - I get him groomed for his comfort, not looks. My last visit I was around 14 minutes late due to a combination of snow, construction in the area, and car issues. I apologized profusely but was met with a really poor attitude and told I would have to reschedule. I see in other reviews other folks were offered a trim and tidy instead, or at least something. I would have been happy with that but instead I got stone cold rudeness. I was having a really rough day (though I remained polite) and the groomer showed no sympathy at all. This was not Kayla who has always been really friendly and professional, but the groomer who I don’t know the name of. Folks, a little kindness goes a long way. I won’t be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We brought our mini aussie to The Paw Pet Spa for the first time today and I'm impressed! It was a bit more expensive than our previous groomer, however Tory did an excellent job! Pixel was neater than we've ever seen him groomed (his paws and butt fluff are so perfectly rounded out!) and I could tell she cared about his comfort. 100% worth the price, we will be bringing him back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely LOVE this place! My dog has severe anxiety with his nails being done, and he just adores everyone here and enjoys going now. The owner and all the staff are not only super friendly and kind, but they also are passionate and have obvious love for my dogs. They spend extra time making them comfortable and giving them love. Such an amazing little place that I will always go to, so long as they are open. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has animals. I can't speak to the haircuts as my dogs are short hair, but in terms of nail trims and customer service, 5/5. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love the ladies here. Recently brought my dog in for bath, brush and nails, and the groomer did a wonderful job. She looked and smelled great afterwards. Sasha hates baths, but she loves Tori and Tori always takes great care of her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our second time coming to The Pet Spa and Boutique, both times we had nothing but a lovely experience. On our first visit I was concerned about the shedding of my dog, the groomer was very informative and honest on how the results may come out, I appreciate this! My boy Tony has come out shiny, beautiful, and smelling a million times better both times. We see huge results with the deshedding treatment he gets done. We go from piles of hair being swept up every day to few pieces here and there, this lasting for at least 3 weeks.
I am very picky with my groomer, Tony is almost 2 he's been to 3 other groomers that I did not have these results with. I definitely recommend giving theses guys a try, we have no plans on going any where else.
