The building still has not set up a system to handle packages. Some tenants have lost packages because of this. Some people do not observe covid practices like wearing masks and limit of 2 in elevators. Lots of younger tenants like college kids and some of them just cannot keep keep quiet during sleeping hours, and management don't seem to address this with urgency. The traffic flow in and out of the garage is terrible. Had a very unpleasant year staying here.

The management for The Met Condo is absolutely horrible. There is utterly NO support yet they demand residents to cooperate and respect their requests and rules. Apparently, due to covid reasons (even though everything is all open now) their office has been closed over a year and the only form of communication is via email. To get any issues resolved takes a minimum of a week to get a response, let alone providing a solution to a problem. Amenities are still closed (party rooms, game rooms, theatre room, office, and gym). Owners have been paying condo fees for services that are not available to be used. It has been over a year and STILL don't have a proper and working system for receiving packages. Many residents have lost their packages and management doesn't seem to act on this ongoing issue with urgency. A few times, residents were forced to remove their cars out of the garage due to building repairs without any accommodations provided by the condo. Completely no effort in coordinating with the city and/or the plazas around the area to provide complimentary/paid parking for the residents during these times. However, they had no problem installing 30+ towing signs all around the building. The management is always on pet owners and literally will spend the time to go through security footages to pinpoint pet owners who don't pick up after their dogs. They have provided dog stations in areas that are not even noticeable (back of the building on a wall that is not visibly clear) yet expect dog owners to respect common areas. Common sense isn't so common with the management team. In addition, many residents have gotten charge ($1200.00) for the condo's malfunction elevators. Calling for help while being stuck in the elevator comes with a fee which SHOULD be covered by the condo. There are five elevators in the building and most of the times, only two works. Almost on a weekly basis, elevators are out of service due to someone being stuck, and management doesn't find this a problem at all. It is easier to charge and accuse residents for "triggering a sensitive sensor" and jumping in the elevators rather than hire a proper company to fix the problems once and for all. It is extremely unethical and unprofessional of the management team to be charging residents for the condo's malfunctions. What seems to be the most important issue for the condo (aside from all the other issues that were mentioned in this review) is to stop people from throwing cigarettes buds over the balconies. The only consistency from management is their weekly degrading posts demanding residents to "stop acting like children" and respect the condo. Management have changed twice over the last year yet things remained the same. There is definitely a split in the middle between the residents and the management team and its only get worse. Residents are starting to not care and the condo is starting to look and feel like a co-op building. It is unfortunate but this is the result of poor management.

Hi guys. Please don’t get in this building. This is a red light building. If you want to lose peace and many you can get in this worth building. Just stay a way. Please don’t come in it. Five stars down the 0.

Units are not bad..had some minor issues though. Elevators can be slow and parking garage isn't the best to navigate around. The hydro cost here is ridiculous. Over $90 in just fees (more than half is a customer service fee lol..)

The Met building is in a great location and fairly clean. The complex itself is VERY poorly designed- the parking garage is one of the worst I've ever seen, VERY dangerous! I've witnessed plenty of car accidents and people scraping their cars trying to get around. (There is barely enough room for 2 cars to pass each other). There have been several inconveniences: no hot water for the day, unable to exit or enter your parking garage for the day, capped visitors permits, people not picking up after their pets, no accommodation parking when people are asked to clear out of their parking spots for maintenance, no amenities have been open or available to book. And most importantly TINY units with poor layouts and high rent. Maintenance is uncooperative and unresponsive most of the time. I would NOT recommend this building at all.

Absolutely the worst building to live in!! You pay the condo fees, yet no amenities are open to use! The garage doors never work (literally), there is always some issue with the elevators and you end up waiting for 20-25 mins for an elevator. The management does not care and at times there is insanely bad odour coming from the garbage compactors.

I lived in this condo two years. Management is so poor. They do not answer any of your questions. Dryer, washer, fridge broken first 5 months. No parking optin for second car. Gym is so small. Rent is so high for such a small units. I do not recomend. You can find better places.

Terrible Condo for the following reasons: 1. dangerous parking garage design, so many accidents in the garage 2. worst elevators in a condo (quality, speed, safety wise) 3. garage door push button is faulty all the time, garage door opener won't work most of the time. 4. all window frames will vibrate and make cracking noise during normal wind condition. Management not willing to fix this. 5. appliance are cheap models with low quality (Slow cook top, useless hood and noisy fridge) my furnace is also broken now. (just 2-year old) 6. when you have a new package, reception will call you, if you don't pick up the phone, your package will get returned. (unless you know the reception person). Reception are friendly but management is not responsive. Paid the price for condo but I get the experience of an apartment. I'll definitely keep away from this developer.
