β β β β β If I could give this so-called "clinic" ZERO stars, I would. I saw DR. Honein once last year, and he basically laughed at my situation and told me that there wasn't much he could do for me. He said it was an impossible situation and he couldn't see any way of getting out of it. I never went back there. He was unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, and lacked any form of empathy or concern for his patient. I am never going back there. This is a poor excuse for a therapist. He should not be allowed to practice.

β β β β β Two terrible experience's with this place, two years apart.
First time I was in the ER with an illness. Missed two appointments and doctor told me not to come back because clearly I'm not able to attend. I even offered to give him a doctor's note, but he said no.
Now it's two years later. Trying to get in again just to get an updated report for other medical reasons. Called a week after my referral just to confirm they got it. They said they didn't when in fact they responded to it by faxing my doctor saying they were missing one checked box on the form.
I literally hate this place. The receptionist's seem judgemental as well, yet they work at a place where mentally ill people come for help. As someone with chronic mental illness issues, don't put yourself through it. Just go somewhere else.

β β β β β I was referred to this clinic for psychotherapy. I have been seeing Dr. LeFebvre, a GP-Psychotherapist, weekly for a few months now. My experience there has been really positive and Dr. LeFebvre has been really helpful. My family doctor described my progress as unbelievable and my wife wants to give her a huge hug. I also had a medication consult with Dr. Chen, a psychiatrist, at the clinic. She was helpful as well. At this clinic, I have been treated with respect and with a commitment to care that I can only describe as exemplary. The office also sends out reminder calls. The only thing I could recommend is better parking but the clinic most likely doesn't get a say in that. I take the subway. I get off at Don Mills station and enjoy the short walk to the clinic from there. The waiting room could use a makeover too, I guess, but that's superficial.

β β β β β I have only attended the clinic a few times but every time has been an excellent experience. Everybody I have seen has been very pleasant, understanding and will take the time to hear you out. Some of the negative patterns and behaviours in my thinking were pointed out, and now that I am conscious of it, I feel like everyday I am moving in the right direction. I don't think I could have done it without the support from the amazing people at this clinic!

β β β β β Hard to give a rating for the clinic as a whole as I only know what it's like to deal with the secretaries and my doctor. My experience with the DR I'm seeing there has been great! He was hugely helpful in many areas of my life. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity.
I was on a wait list for nearly 2 years and yes I had to keep following up or they never would've contacted me.
I see one person above was complaining about this, but I don't think that's fair you have to learn to advocate for yourself and check in on these things. who knows what happens and etc with your records.
anyway, that's my experience and I still see the DR every few months to check in and etc.

β β β β β I was referred to The Medical Clinic for Person-Centred Psychotherapy by my family doctor. I have been working with the administrative team and Dr. Anne Rose since September 2020.
I have nothing but praises and gratitude for how I have been supported in my mental health journey by the entire team. Dr. Rose is extremely competent, genuine, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I feel heard, understood, and greatly appreciate her open-mindedness and down-to-Earth personality. She also has an amazing sense of humour, which really helps me when discussing heavier subjects.
The administrative team has been very diligent in ensuring I am set up at least 4 weekly appointments ahead of time even though itβs technically my responsibility to call in for future bookings. They are very organized and pleasant to coordinate with.
I will be honest that if I had allowed my first impression (specifically the clinicβs website) to deter me, I never would have had the good fortune of being treated by Dr. Rose. I urge the clinic to invest in a website update as I truly believe many others could benefit from its services as much as I have.
