★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place!!! Amazing people!!! Since COVID-19 they have been so easy to deal with and have helped out with deliveries so I don’t need to leave my house. Due to the demand and supply of pork and beef It’s not there fault prices go up, so not fair to blame them.
I would like to thank them for all the hard work to keep our local families feed through these hard times.
Thank you Stouffville Meat Merchant!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The short ribs were excellent! Thank you Russ and Laura for the great cuts of meat. BTW the ground beef wellingtons were so good! I love that I can grab something homemade from your shop and warm it up when I get home. Takes the guilt away from having to order pizza again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a hit and miss for me. I have no issue with their fresh meats and chicken. I've bought some of their frozen foods that weren't so good. Bought the pork schnitzel at least a year ago and just remember how tough and chewy it was. Never again. Their frozen potato crusted cod is Excellent! Last week I bought their ham/cheddar/potato pie, which was very expensive, and we had to throw most of it out. It was just awful. I don't think I'll be very adventurous in their shop anymore. I'll stick to just what I know is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little place in Stouffville! Came from Markham to get something special for a Father's Day BBQ. Friendly helpful staff, really nice atmosphere, will go back. Oh..and smells incredible in the shop , should have asked what they were smoking:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worked here for awhile . Had my phone stolen from my locker by the only other guy working that day . I spoke to one of the owners about it who was there at the time ,she did absolutely nothing to assist me in getting to the bottom of it just a shrug of the shoulders and back to work. I really enjoyed working at this establishment but i thought that was just not professional in any way .I am only speaking about this now. This was back in 2011-2012

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the only place to buy your meat. I am extremely picky when it comes to the meat I buy. The Meat Merchant has never let us down with the quality of their products. The meat is always excellent and the great flavour always comes through. Whether its bacon, ham, chicken, steaks or roasts, its all delicious. We have had so many compliments from dinner guests its crazy. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They even go the extra mile for us in vacuum sealing and freezing our order that we take to the Caribbean. Yes we are allowed to take meat where we travel. Trust me when I say we have people lining up for dinner invitations when we arrive. Even when thawed, the meat tastes like it was bought that day. My husband is crazy over the chipolte sausages and I get requests from our guests for the prime rib and steaks. You will not be disappointed buying your meat here.
