★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious ice cream, but the person at the cash and handing out ice cream wasn't wearing gloves so I found that a bit gross and not very comfortable during times of Covid19. Otherwise, it was a very cute place, and the worker was friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Funny how the only complaints are from the entitled wanting to use a business’ property for what it wasn’t meant for. It’s a paddle shop and ice cream place, not an on route for you to picnic at. GERRARD hooked up my wife and I with Clear Water Designs kayaks and we couldn’t be happier. Had them out and loved them. Super nice guy who knows what he’s talking about. Thanks to The Maz for everything!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refreshing treat on a hot day! The ice cream here (from Kawartha Dairy) is top notch, and the scoops are generous. The owners of this shop are extremely lovely and always provide amazing service. I make sure to always stop by for a scoop whenever I’m in the area!

He even came and delivered them to our campsite at bon echo so that we could enjoy them sooner. Talk about great service! Love to support a local business and a Canadian made kayak. Many great paddling days ahead. Thanks Gerard!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice folks. Ice cream is fantastic. Not unreasonably priced considering there isn't much else around Bon Echo. Their firewood is bone dry too. And surprisingly he has some rare Chestnut Canoe Company boats for sale. All in all a great place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little local spot, serving tasty Kawartha dairy ice cream. I hate to leave a vaguely negative review, but the ice cream server needs a refresher on food safety during covid. Her mask migrated from her mouth, to her chin, to not on at all. She went from touching her mask to touching the cones. We're almost out of this thing, in the meantime, though, you might as well wear a mask properly. It won't hurt you.
