★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I toured many retirement homes and interviewed management at each for a university project, and I have to say this is by far the nicest place. Not only are the accommodations above and beyond what I had seen in other facilities, the program seemed to give the residents more freedom and the staff were more committed than anywhere else. All of my family has since had their own experiences with The Manor Village, and they all speak highly of it as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a widow living alone in a condo at a rural golf course for 3 years after my husband passed away. I was lonely and never had the inclination to prepare regular meals. I decided I wanted to be where there were activities , people and someone to prepare healthy meals for me.
A real estate friend took me under her wing and brought me into the city to show me what was available. This went on for 24 months. I did not find anything that really suited me. A church friend one Sunday said she was moving into a new facility and I should come and have a look. I made an appointment with Tina and was given all of the information for the Manor at Fish Creek Park. At that time the buildings were under construction. After leaving I knew that I had found my new home. I have been here for 14 months and love it. The staff bend over backwards to make us comfortable, and all we have to do is ask. I am extremely happy with all of the activities, we can be as busy as we want. The Manor provides a bus and driver to take the residents to very interesting and informative venues. A great feature is that as our health deteriorates we will be moved to a different section and do not have to move to another care facility. Since moving and taking part in the wonderful exercise program I notice that my over all health has improved. I tell everyone – I have made 2 wonderful decisions in my life. The first is marrying the husband that I chose and the second is moving into The Manor Village at Fish Creek Park. Charlotte Porteous #855 I feel that the residents are a close knit family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was advocating for a friend that was in hospital and could not go back home. It was suggested to us by The Rock View Hospital that we tour The Manor at Fish Creek. I was SO IMPRESSED! This residence is so beautiful and every one is so nice! Anyone that I passed smiled at me and said hello. The apartment that was offered to us was brand new as is the rest of the Manor. I found the care staff to be so warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable. We did not have to think about our decision, we made this Manor our first choice and felt very blessed.
My friend was able to move in quickly and we all feel wonderful about our decision.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had heard from a friend about the great reputation that the Manor Village had, so I was hopeful there would be one built in the south. I saw the sign and immediately went in and had a visit with Tina, which was a great experience. I found that it met my needs and I made a deposit the next day. I love the security of the building. The staff are all wonderful and friendly, there are really nice people living here I’m 88 years young and I enjoy the variety of ages here. Bottom line is…don’t wait too long to enjoy the life that is there for you, you deserve it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked a business prior to joining the manor village that helped seniors to transition to Senior living. I referred a few of my clients to the Manor at Fish Creek and have only had positive feed back from those individuals.
Every time I tour a new family, I make a point of stopping an existing resident or two, and ask them to tell my touring family what there experience has been living here. I do this with confidence because I know they are Always Always raving about the Manor. They consistently comment on how friendly all of the staff are and how happy every one is.
I make a point of going into the dinning room every morning to greet the breakfast bunch. They all love it here.
I have enjoyed working with the all of the staff here, all very kind and caring individuals. Very professional, when the time comes for my mom to move, we will be moving her here with out a doubt!!

2 years ago my wife and I came to Calgary and started living at The Manor Village Fish Creek Park.
We are so pleased with our choice %100 of the staff have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome.
The period of restricted living now over was so well handled .
Now that our liberty has been restored we have been able to invite friends and relations to eat in the Medallion Room which is most attractive and handled so well by Antoun the manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My parents moved to The Manor Village last October and absolutely love being part of this wonderful community. I was nervous at first moving them from their home in High River, but from the beginning the amazing Laura (Lifestyle Manager), all of the front desk staff, Dining Room Manager Antoun, the nurses, the cleaners - it really has given us the peace of mind knowing Mom & Dad are being well taken care of. A class act of a place to live! I organized an 80th Birthday celebration for my Dad on May 8th (also a busy Mother's Day for the dining room staff!) and it was just lovely. The help & attention we received from the beginning of the planning, to the delicious dinner, to all of the little things that helped this be so special will be appreciated & remembered always. A special thank you to Antoun, always helpful, professional & the perfect gentleman to all of his residents & of course the chef and kitchen staff that pulled it all together. THANK YOU!
