Great service! Daniel and Margaret at the pro desk are so helpful, friendly and with a great sense of humour. Another guy was also explaining to us differences with types of rock. We felt like VIP served by three staff answering questions and putting down orders. Other staff in the gardening area also knowledgeable. Seeing people enjoying their job makes me so happy!

This (original one star review is now a two star due to customer service following up to try to correct the situation) is for the failure of Home Depots online order system. It allows customers to order online, charges their credit card, and schedule a pick up date (at Richmond Home Depot). But when the pick up date arrives Home Depot nor their distribution center even has the product or an idea of when they may get it. If you don't want to be immensily frustrated, don't order online for pick up and trust what the website tells you. The website clearly hasn't been built to inform customers of the reality of availability or distribution (frankly provides false information), wasting their customers time. Now I need to decide to gamble and see if Home Depot will someday get the product I've already paid for, or cancel my order and hope to get a refund. On a positive note the staff at Richmond Home Depot that helped me were polite and tried their best. They were just let down by an ineffective online order system, like myself Update: I got a call saying there is a cancelled order and they now have one available that I can pick up. I'm happy I'm getting one but their online order system is still faulty. When I ordered it said they had 36 units in stock. Then on my pick up day they had zero. Now the next day they say they have one from a cancelled order. I'm interested to know what happened to the other 36 units. Did they sell those to other customers even after people like me placed successful orders online? Please fix your online order system for tight inventory units to avoid such confusion.

As someone who suffers from irregular sleep schedules, I really appreciate the early opening and late closing hours. The Home Depot website is already pretty intuitive as a guide to help find specific items across the large warehouse. To compliment that, the staff there have offered me tons of guidance on where to find things (in the rare occasions where item locations are not registered on the website) or suggestions on which items fit the specific needs I have for them.

Richmond Home Depot, one of the worst place to go to. I went to the store at 6pm and was there till 9:19pm to find out I bought blocks which were cracked and damaged. Nor did the associate want to count the Beltis, neither did she want to sort out the damaged beltis. She assumed they were 540 beltis and sold them to me as the store was closing. They did not care about the amount of time I was there. I had to return the Beltis and it’s been 3 weeks the store has not refunded me as they have a less count of f Beltis. Before the Beltis was sold to me, nor were they counted neither sorted out, but upon return each Beltis is counted however what are they matching with. This matter is going to court now as I have incurred so much stress and my client is very upset.

I try to buy electric outlet today, walk back and forth can not decide which kind of items I should chose. Susan with home depot uniform come to me, and nicely tell me what kind of electric parts I should chose, bring to me super nice idea. I appreciate got Susan help and bought what I need also save a lot money, because Susan help me chose package items which is better deal. Such lucky day for me to meet such experienced home depot staff. Thank you, Susan!

I was there to find items for a kitchen renovation. Really clear signs on the appliances. Good variety of kitchen cabinet choices.
