★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the store today and was looking at glass inserts for doors with blinds, I talked to a very knowledgeable man that seemed to be a manager. We talked about a brand that they don't carry but they carry their windows. He told me to talk to one of the two people sitting at the chair, the lady seem less the impressed that I was waiting for her. I told her what I was looking for and I told her the same thing I had told him "I found this brand at Lowe's and they are significantly less then the brand you have" she responded with "well then go drive to Calgary" this BLEW my mind. I asked if they can't get the brand I was talking to him about, she said no never. She had no interest in helping me. I'm looking at buying 5 of these door inserts and for the $250 each cheaper, maybe I just will drive to Calgary, or give litterally anyone else my business. Very disappointed as I've spent quite a bit of money at this store since I moved to Vernon as we been doing renovations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd say 95% of the time you walk passed an employee or vise versa they ask you if you need help. Vernon has some of the most helpful staff.
Yesterday I was chatting with a couple employees and the topic of you employer actually giving a dam adout you came up. Both of them where happy to say the felt appreciated and that the store quite often did little thing for them.
It's nice to know that where you are shopping cares about their staff. 10/10 for the staff and home Depot.

My husband and I would like to use this opportunity to express gratitude to Mark Boulton who helped us on two different occasions with our purchase of kitchen cabinets, sink and some other things. Mark is so knowledgeable, very friendly, down to earth, patient, and has great professional and personal integrity. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always helpful staff. We have ordered a stackable washer and dryer here. We have discussed kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, tools, lighting,etc. We always get helpful advice. The staff look for you and always offer their help. Excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware of tool rental deposit not being returned!
Rented a tool for four hours and was charged not only for the rental, but also the $100 deposit which was supposed to be immediately returned/cancelled. Instead, this $100 charge posted to my credit card and I'm now responsible for paying it.
The person at the Rental centre told me there's nothing he can do, that I'm to call my credit card company and they can cancel it. My credit card company (VISA) says the exact opposite, that they cannot cancel a posted transaction and that Home Depot should be returning my money.
My only option is to dispute the transaction and wait months for that investigation to get wrapped up. Thanks SO MUCH, Home Depot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When the day came to deliver, I went out to the truck to check out the washer and dryer I purchased 2 weeks earlier and things looked good. After the washer was in I was asked if I had any tools, which I was taken back that they knew it was a stackable set up. I just moved in and so I didn't have one handy, as I was telling him, the other guy pushed open my front door were I was standing next to and he got my foot under the door. He didn't apologize or anything. Once it was stacked they said it was in and left. I started a load and it went to spin, the whole dryer was falling off. They didn't screw none of it down and disnt end up using all the parts, I also found the screws on the floor that was supposed to hold it down. Had to wait another 48 hrs for someone to come back to do it right. Would not recommend this place other then grab and go shopping. . Alls I go was, "sorry this happened". I paid 2400 for delivery and install and alls I can do is stare at it and tell my kids to stay away.
