★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in Vernon heading back to Kelowna. I had a bolt stuck in my tire and was worried about the drive home. The Kal Tire Vernon team fit me in right away without an appointment and got me on my way in an hour! Great service.

My boyfriend booked an appt for Saturday morning a week and a half ahead of time.
Dropped off car at 10am as asked, and were told they would have the car for 2-3 hours.
We came back 3 and a half hours later and the car was still in the lot.
After a discussion with sales staff, we were made to feel like we were mistaken and had actually booked a PM appt.
They offered to make room in a bay for his car at that point, but we had other commitments.
It wasn't a huge loss, but this negative review is more a reflection how the manager made us feel as if we were mistaken and had unreasonable expectations, when it was communicated clearly in both the initial phone call and when we dropped off the car that they wanted it for 10am and that they would have it somewhere between 2-3 hours, rather than 4-4.5 if we had been able to stay to complete the service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my car in for an out of province inspection They did get to it when they said but called to say my tires failed. I brought my wi yet tired in them for them to change over. This is when the poor service began. I got a text later that night to say the car was done and ready for pick up. So the next morning we walked down to pick up the car. When we got there we found it wasn’t ready at all. So we went for coffee and returned in 2 hours. The car was ready but they hadn’t taken the worn out tires off the rims like we asked. So we paid for the whole service which included $20 to have the old tires removed from the rims. They said it would be done the next day. So once again we came back I. The afternoon and they still weren’t done. So it meant another trip back to pick up our rims. The person I talked to on the phone said they would wave the $20. When we went to pick up the rims no one knew anything about our refund. Therefore no refund was issued. Terrible customer service! We will not be returning. This was not a good impression of our first interaction in Vernon.
Update: Kal Tire followed up with me and resolved my issue very quickly. Thank you.

They were quick and professional with the installation and we're happy to answer any questions I had. I will definitely be continuing to give Kal Tire my business is the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here many times with multiple vehicles; great service, friendly staff. Any time I raise a concern, it is addressed and corrected super quickly. The team here is great, mechanics are knowledgeable and the prices are very fair and reasonable. Terry is especially great, he sneaks me in whenever he can and always gets all my problems taken care of. There's really not a more honest shop from here to the coast!! Super happy to have found such a great shop, I travel from valley to valley for work but only stop here for any vehicle work I need
