★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had stopped by the store on Monday at around 1pm and they were closed (apparently not open on Monday's), but to be closed 4 days before Christmas was a bit of a shock!?! I did manage to go back however I was not welcomed as I entered or asked if I needed any assistance. I did buy something as I like to buy local although there were no cards left of the artist I purchased.."all gone" apparently. Also was surprised that I didn't get a proper receipt just the payment receipt.
Otherwise, there is a lot of different works of art and worth to check out but you may want to call ahead to see if they are open.

The Handmade House Burlington a bright airy beautiful space with so many unique products by many different local handmade artists. If you are looking for a gift for anyone, you are sure to find something here with four large rooms full of local handmade products to browse! Every time I visit, I discover something new.
Today was my first time back since the start of COVID closures and they have done a great job with the extra precautions required for the safety of their staff and shoppers.
If you value supporting small Canadian business and love handmade, this place is worth a visit!
