It’s got that awesome small shop vibe where you get to know whose handling your equipment and really personalize the service. I’d rather give my money to a local business any day AND they do a better job than a big shop would. Highly recommend checking this place out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best shop by far in Alberta, probably even Canada. While most shops offer a very basic wax and hand sharpen that could be achieved by anyone, Andrew offers a service that can only be achieved with proper equipment and years of experience.
His passion shows with his vast knowledge on how to repair and tune any type of camber, or style of board. Whether you want your board tuned for high level competition or just free riding the mountain with your friends this is definitely the place to go.
Stop by, have a chat with him and find out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Great attention to detail, quick turnaround times (we had two boards and they were ready in less than 24 hours), really friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were recommended to come here by a local snowboard retailer and we will definitely recommend the Glide Factory to others!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was blown away at how awesome this shop is that I felt inclined to write my first ever review on Google. Just driving through Calgary on a long roadtrip, but the craftsmanship and care that my board received was probably some of the best I've ever seen across countless different shops in the US/Canada throughout the past 5 years. They also got it done and back to me within 24 hours, which almost no other shop in Calgary could do when I called them at the time. Will definitely come back to this shop next time I'm in Calgary!
